08/11 Written Update

Highlights:

• Yug-Vrinda come face to face
• VA and Dadabeer talk about 'the night'
• Sharad shocked to see Vrinda
• Yug takes Vrinda back home

Update

Krithika and Vrinda head up the mandir stairs and Krithi's dupatta gets stuck in the barbed wire.  Vrinda releases it and they both swap dupattas as Krithi's is ripped.

Neel and Yug head towards the mandir btu are stopped by the pundit who tells them that tonight single girls have gathered here to pray for a husband and so men are not allowed.  Neel takes Yug to one side and asks what they should do.  Yug replies that he had a feeling this would happen and brings out a salwar suit.  Neel looks horrified as Yug tells him to put it on.

A few minutes later, Neel dressed in the salwar suit with his covered by a dupatta moves towards the mandir.  Pundit greets him pleasantly [thinking that he's a girl] just as the wind blows the dupatta of Neel.  Pundit recognises Neel and chases him away.  Yug says to himself that Neel is useless and he will have to do something.

Later…

Pundit asks Vrinda why she is standing to a side and tells her to light a diya like the rest of the girls.  Vrinda agrees and lights the diya as Yug sneaks in to the mandir.  He spots Vrinda and remembers Baba telling him that Krithi was wearing a yellow dupatta.  Believing Vrinda to be Krithi, Yug clamps his hand over her mouth and pulls Vrinda to a side.

EYE-LOCK!!! [Swoons!]

The cloth separating the idols of Radha-Krishna is blown away and covers Yug and Vrinda who continue to gaze at each other.  Finally Vrinda comes to her senses and rushes away.

Baba arrives and sees the barrier between Radha-Krishna removed.  He becomes emotional [sorry guys, couldn't understand his dialogue]

Village…

Dadabeer stand on his side near the wired barrier as he remembers his childhood moments spent with VA and then scenes of a man shooting and a woman weeping as she breaks her bangles.  Preeto [his wife] arrives and says that she si trying to work out why the man, who promises to keep this barrier alive in the day time, comes to this same barrier at night and sheds tears.

She adds that this all happened because of that night 20 years ago.  Dadabeer replies that he had come to this same spot that night two decades ago and waited for VA.  He adds that he would have forgiven VA had he turned up but neither did VA arrive, and neither did his message.  He vehemently says that he can't let this enmity die and he may come ehre at night and weep on this land, but he will never allow VA to set foot on it.

VA is show getting out his car and heads towards the barrier as well.  He reaches through the wire and grasps some soul from Dadabeer's land and looks at it with tears in his eyes.  VA says that he would have forgiven Balwant for everything, wrecking his house, his betrayal that night; but Dadaveer never turned once to look at him.  And for that his enemy will always remain on the other side.

VA and Balwant are shown turning away from the barrier at the same time, mere  metres away from each other but don't see the other.

Later…

Yug happily gets out the car and tells Sharad that he's brought Krithi.  Vrinda comes out the car and Sharad is shocked to see her and tells Yug that he brought Vrinda here, not Krithi.  Vrinda is furious but Sharad tries to explain why he lied to the villagers.  A man calls Sharad who panics and asks Yug to drop Vrinda back to the village.

Vrinda glares at Yug who backs away and holds his ears saying sorry.  He tries assuring her that he'll get her home safely but she looks at him suspiciously and Yug realises that she can't speak English.  He manages to get her in the car but it breaks down on the way.  He tells her the car has broken down but she doesn't understand him.

Yug tries motioning with his hands – Vrinda asks if his hand is broken.  Frustrated, Yug pulls up the hood of the car and shows her the steam.  Vrinda is shocked and yells at Yug, asking why he couldn't tell her before.  She blames him and a frustrated Yug asks God what he did wrong to get stuck with her.

Vrinda gets anxious and leaves.  Yug turns and is shocked to see her missing.  He chases after her and asks why she left as he got scared.  Vrinda realises what he is saying and gives him an amused look.  She tells him not to worry and to follow her.  Yug realises what he said and hurriedly tells her that he wasn't scared.

He suddenly hears a noise and gets nervous but Vrinda points out that it's his phone.  Yug picks up to find Sunny on the other.  Yug explains his predicament and Sunny tells him not to worry as he will translate the dialogues.  Vrind walks forward absentmindedly when Yug yells at her to stop – he points at the ditch in front of her and Vrinda hurries back scared. 

Yug tells her not to worry as he has found the way and asks her to join him.  He explains by pointing to her, then him, and then joining his hands.  Vrinda takes the wrong meaning and moves away disgusted.

Yug tells her to stop in hindi and says that he knows he has made a mistake by bringing her here but by getting her safely to her house he wants to rectify that mistake.  Vrinda is surprised that he can speak hindi but he points to the phone and asks her to come with him.

He leads her to the ditch where a tree has fallen and created a bridge across the hole.  He asks her to trust him.  Vrinda hesitantly places her hands on his shoulders and screws her eyes shut as Yug leads the way.  In the middle, they start teetering - Yug loses his mobile and Vrinda starts screaming.

WOWIE!!  So much happened in todays epi.  Maha melodramatic but totally wirth the watch.😃
