What Prithvi said yesterday could have been confusing, though I am still certain that there was some intimacy between Kripa and Prithvi...they did what the serial makers showed on TV....
I think the distance and differences Prithvi mentioned yesterday stem from his insecurities. He has always known that Kripa love(s)/d Angad and has always been insecure about it. The fact that Kripa and Prithvi did not live like normal husband and wife must have played on his mind and troubled him for so long. Yet he kept it bottled up and this insecurity must have mushroomed so much that it is not easily done away with, even after one night of intimacy, which in this case, as far as Prithvi is concerned was long overdue.
Also, the distance could just mean an emotional distance. Emotionally Kripa has never been able to give the same to Prithvi as she did to Angad, and no matter how many nights she spends with him, she probably will not be able to get emotionally close to him. They have always been very good friends, but Kripa has always held him at arms length. I also think that Kripa is still madly in love with Angad and what she did, she did out of vengence and not out of love for Prithvi...so despite the intimacy of that night, Prithvi must have (surely?) felt the distance and if I may say, Kripa's disinterest. I dont think that Kripa hid her feelings about that night too well.
The difference between other couples and Kand P is that, most couples bond in a way that is special and unique...it is different from all other relationships...this arises from physical and emotional closeness. HOwever, Kand P were and are first good friends more than anything else and all they have between them is friendship. Other couples have friendship and a whole lot more.
The last episode ended with poor Angad wondering if Kripa got intimate with Prithvi again to solve their differences. Coz did Prithvi not say somethign to the effect of 'misunderstandings sometimes bring people closer together'?
