Radhika: Pliiiiish don't cry Radhu... Gran Canaria is an Island of the Canary Islands. It layes in the Atlantic Ocean, about 210km from the northwest coast of Africa. It's really beauiful there=) And yeah, the Canary Islands are under Spain=)
