the song was from Hare Rama hare Krishna a hit movie of the 1970's starring Dev Anand, Zeenat Amaan and Mumtaz. In the film this song was picturized on Zeenat Amaan. the main playback singer was Asha Bhosle and the pop english version was being sung I think by Usha utthup. What is amazing is the blend that Nihira brought in this song blending the voice of a cult like Asha Bhosle and Usha utthup giving the right sort of variation. I thought this was truly the best performance given by any contestant to date on any of the musical shows be it SRGMP, or any other. Just my opinion. This song was very difficult if u listen carefully. No one so far has got 10/10 by all mentors.

I agree, I listened to the DVD of the original, and Nihira's voice for Zeenat Aman was more clearer or cleaner than the original, then I came back to Nihira and just can't stop humming.

kaboo123 i totally agree with you , i thought the song was a tough one and she sang it very well .

Yaar Ko Maine -- Rajeev (in the initial rounds)
Sanam Mere Humraaz -- Debo
Aanewala Pal -- Hema (as good as original which says a lot)

Sharibs TADAP TDAP was better than the original, Aishvarya sang the Kyun Ki song better than the original and last but not the lest Himani sang that AITRAJ's song better than original!!!!!!!!!!
