Some of the new changes coming your way

How are you all doing? I am sure you are now slowly getting used to the new layout in spite of all the issues and changes 😳. Thank you so much for being patient and bearing with us while we try to make this IF experience just the way you like it.

Thanks to all those who take the time to give us feedback👍🏼. We always try to consider them and we are sorry if we are not able to implement it. Trust us we want to but sometimes its outside the range of coding and implementation.

Based on what you have told us we have enhanced some features and would like to know your feedback on this before we roll it out.

1.New Page Layout

A lot of you voiced that with this new page layout there was a wastage of space to the left and you rather use that space then have it there for navigation. Keeping that in mind we have tried to give the page a new look and would like to know if this what you are looking for .i am sure this helps to navigate easier and solves your problems with the page alignment and does make the page have the effect that there is lot written snd to read 😉

2. Image Auto Resize

There has been a lot of frustrations with images that you have to keep scrolling to see the entire pictures. And this also has been a reason for some to complain of their pages to lose their alignment. So now we have this auto image resize feature which will automatically shrink the pictures to fit with the page . Ok Ok before you cry that you cannot see the pictures let me tell you now all you have to click on these pictures and it will open a new window with the right size of the picture that was uploaded.

For example currently when large pictures are posted you have a scroll barat the bottom...now the enhanced version will look like this

3. HTML SAFE AND MS WORD

There has been new code and functions written which filters out malicious inputs from users when they post on the forum. The functions for MS WORD are rewritten so that it is compatible with various versions of Word and there should be no more weird looking posts. Also no more having to copy it to notepad before pasting .😊

4. GOLD TELEVISION AWARDS

As you are aware India Forums has now the honor of being the official online partner for the Gold Television Awards (produced by WhiteLeaf Entertainment Pvt. Ltd) 👏 . This means you are going to play a huge role in who will the winner by casting your valuable votes. So keep your eyes and ears opened as we soon will be rolling out the voting systems. Currently as there is just reruns of shows due to the strike is the best time to put on your thinking caps and lets us know what else you would like to see on the forum and what else would help in making India Forums a fun and happening place.
