Should a batsman admit he is out, and walk off when he is sure that he is? Or should he wait for the umpire bto make the decision?
I say that he should show sportsmanship and walk when he is sure that he is out and not hope for an umpire's mistake to keep him falsely in.

I dunno... this argument has been in since long..🤔
even yesterday, a whole drama occurred when gayle was on 99... He was out thrice but the umpires didn't declare him out 😕 and he went on to make a 100...
There r very few cricketers currently who walk when they know they r out and they r respected for their sportsmanship... Gilchrist was one of them... He didn't even use to wait for the bowler to appeal and just walked wen he knew he was out... Sangakkara too does the same.. And I really like this spirit of theirs..👏

Even I think a batsman shoudl leave wen he is out..no matter if he is at 99..or smthng..Maybe..if sum1 hs to save deir team dey..do not leave the pavilion..I remember..dis series India against Australia..in India onli..in 2006 in Mumbai i suppose..n Saheer Khan..Uthappa and Harbhajan singh hd played brilliantly..n the target ws smthng in 100's..n Murali Karthik hd taken 6 wickets..Now wen we were 134-8..Tht tym Murali hd nicked the ball..off Br8 lee..n he ws out..bt the umpires dint c..n unfortunately fr Australia India won..So I think I wont mind batsman staying in d pavilion if v really hv to save d game..
Gilchrist used to walk out widout d referral..N tht is y i used to admire him very much..N I think even Dhoni follows the principal..if any1 hs noticed den..

i would say depends , if you must have observed the rivalry between india and aussies have reached the peak if in tht situation most of the times ,aussies never walk then why shd indians.
but grt players like sachins and laras never really wait , they just walk off. so the umpire trust them. so my pick wud be depends.
