Animated flicks fail at BO

Of late Bachna Ae Haseeno has been the only good thing that has happened to Yash Raj Films and for a long time to come the flick will maintain its record of being the highest grosser. Yash Raj's Roadside Romeo hasn't got a good response at the box office. Does this mean that the Yash Raj magic has failed yet again or has the animated story telling not found an audience? Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor lend their voices to Roadside Romeo.

Animation films from all over the world have done well in India. But, Indian animation films, barring Hanuman, have failed at the Box Office. Roadside Romeo, has virtually bombed everywhere, we wonder where that leaves the Karan Johar animated film Koochie Koochie Hota Hai, which is being directed by Dostana maker Tarun Mansukhani. According to sources, Karan is going slow on this one and may even drop the project.
