In an interview with Digital Spy, Robbie Coltrane (Hagrid in the HP movies) revealed that JK Rowling has shared with him Hagrid's fate. He said, "She told me what happens to Hagrid, because I couldn't do it unless I knew what the story was."

He also said (not for the first time) that, as he's yet to have negotiated his contract for OotP, he's not 100% sure he'll be back. Nothing to worry about, though.

he's not 100 5 sure if he is com ing back.. tht means he hi not sure weather he is gonna do the 5 th movie or not..??? is it 😕

I think they won't change dan until HBP. I read that he's doing Ootp along with Rupert but dunno abt HBP. We have to wait 4 that.

Even I can't imagine anyone else playing Hagrid. 😭

But yeah, I definitely want someone else to play Remus. 😆
