Shock Horror: Aishwarya's role from Pink Panther chopped?

If Aishwarya Rai Bachchan thought that a major role in the sequel to Hollywood flick The Pink Panther would put on the high-list of actors, then she was so wrong. Apparently, Aishwarya's scenes and her name have been chopped of from the promos of the flick.

The Steve Martin film, which releases in just less than 4 months from now, has just had its promo trailers released and first look poster. However Aishwarya, who spent a lot of time filming major scenes for this film, is nowhere to be seen; neither on the posters or within the trailers.

A source reveals, 'There has been considerable delay in the film's release. Earlier this year, the writer's strike hampered the film's progress. Also, the studio executives are fighting a battle against time to draw a campaign strategy that does justice to the film. Between all this, it will be interesting to see how much of Ash's role is retained and if she will play any part in the film's promotion or not.'

Aishwarya has previously starred in Indian themed Hollywood films Pride and Prejudice and Mistress of Spices.

The movie is focused on Steve Martin " Inspector Clouseau" and not on Aishwarya or anyone else. Her name "Aishwarya Rai Bachchan" is on the poster ( i saw it). Watch the movie before to say all this nonsenses

well only when she will start saying something true abt herself..which she neva does..such a diplomat..

Well better to be a diplomat rather than washing their dirty linen and dirty lingeres in public.

I would go for the first one. Be diplomat to avoid any unnecessary controversies and be in the lime light becasue of your WORK rather than extra curriculum activities.

Also,the main character is of Steve Martin...so obv they'll promote him more...
