Here Is The Update For 22nd January, 2 0 0 8, L R L Episode.
Episode begins with the usual Recaps :-
Scene kicks starts with B C and Abhimanyu, Abhimanyu and B C discuss the merits of each of the new entrants as the cadets. And both hope and expect lot from the new cadets and that they do well and come out in flying colours.
Scene shifts to outside the building but within the compound, an Army Truck drives in and Alekh and Naina watch. Alekh comes out with a remark that K M A is acquiring new "funtoosh " weaponry ".
Behind them Abhimanyu repeats the word "funtoosh" to say that, new "funtoosh" weapons are for K M A and to train the new cadets. And asks them to join him in inspecting the new weapons.
Scene again shifts to the board room where the entire latest and most modern Armory is laid out on the long table. All the weapons are seen and discussed. B C sounded bit skeptical while saying that these weapons are supposedly to train the cadets. Abhimanyu is surprised and asks B C whether and why is he unhappy. B C says that some how he has a different view point that latest guns and other things are not helpful.
After dispersing Alekh and Naina are seen walking along the corridor discussing the weapons which are very good in their opinion. Alekh further says that B C was not sounding happy at the introduction of the new advanced weapons. At some point Doc Shalini walks in to join them from behind.
Doc Shalini tells them to enjoy their last few days at K M A and that whenever they get their postings they would be parted but both Naina and Alekh would remember the togetherness and cherish those feelings. Then she hands them gifts, and they open to find bullet in each packet. Doc Shalini explains that the bullets are the ones which they were shot with on their mission – flash backs, while rescuing Sameera – and these two bullets will remind them of their friendship, supportiveness to each other and those moments. Doc Shalini gives a Very Sweet Smile and pats Naina and Alekh on their cheeks.
Scene shifts to the Mess Hall with Naina and Alekh, Suriji comes with two plates of eateries and joins them. He says these are as per Major Sharma's orders as these give vital vitamins. Naina says could they not have some thing else as they are here only for few more days. Suriji replies that his hands are itching to make " Parathas". But he could not disobey. Alekh interjects to says, just this once. Suriji agrees to do so and takes back the eatery, singing all the way, to his cooking area. He is still happily singing, and Alekh's face is full of mirth and suddenly announces that Vaibhavi Ma'am is round the corner, Suriji shuts his mouth, his face going long. Naina then says Alekh is pulling his – Suriji's – legs. Suriji says that he almost had an attack of the heart / or simply put heart attack. All smiles on Alekh and Naina. In between Alekh and Naina decide to meet B C regarding their postings. As if by telepathy, Suriji too suggest the same thing, that is, talk to the B C.
Scene Shifts back to the office of B C where Abhimanyu, Major Vaibhavi and, of course, B C are present.
B C expresses his misgivings on the new weapons. Abhimanyu responds by saying with modern weapons and gadgets a soldier will be complete and will have the advantage and be a step ahead in every kind of situation. Major Vaibhavi endorses Abhimanyu's point of view.
B C then says that in India and the Indian Army, does not a wage a war, but it defends the country and most of the battles are ground battles, which are to be won. Hence mostly physical contact and combat takes place. Hence guns and other modern gadgets are not of much use. And at K M A training methods give equal importance to both kinds of warfare. Also it has been the tradition of the K M A. Abhimanyu then agrees that B C had a valid point and agrees with the B C.
And B C further says he wants to introduce hand to hand combat, something called " Gullyad fight" – I am not sure I got that right. – but he had not got a teacher to impart the training right now at the Academy. But there is one person.
B C then makes a phone call and afterwards tells them, in response to Major Vaibhavi's query, " Rambo of the jungle". I think I got it right. Abhimanyu breaks into a smile and Major Vaibhavi bit lost.
Scene once more is with B C making a telephone call and both Alekh and Naina in with B C. Naina asks about their posting but B C says he is busy would be out for the day and the issue could wait.
Naina and Alekh Salute and leave.
White Ambassador is traveling along the road and at some point B C is seen walking inside the jungle, in the back ground a man is chopping wood, B C walks for a while. Scene alternates between the chopper and the B C, who at some point walks into a trap. A while passes before B C catches up with the Chopper.
It is Ankur Nayyar making his re entry. B C and the Captain ( Ankur Nayyar) are talking. B c wants the Captain to take up the training of the Cadets, even though the Captain had no earlier experience in teaching. Captain says he has an assignment.
B C says he will take care of all the details and see to it that the Captain's assignment does not Suffer.
Episode Ends on the Captain's amused Face.
