Hi guys...

Though am not an active participant in this website,but i closely follow this website & especially the ramayana section,coz am one of the biggest fans of this epic....

One thing has been bothering me too much....Why is it that they're showing the same scenes over & over again in each & every episode?

I mean the Angad,Nal,Neel & Hanumanji fighting scenes?Even the camera angles are the same!! Huh

Two more things striked me after i watched today's episode :

1. Ravana never stepped out of Lanka until it was the end of the war....

2. Lakshman was shown as being hit by an arrow shot by Ravana...But in actual,this thing happened between Lakshman & Meghnath(Indrajit)....

Why are they showing wrong things?

They're really disappointing by doing this...Everything else that they've shown till now is correct as per my knowledge...But i just couldnt bear my favourite tv show,the one i love the most,showing wrong things...

Does any one wanna comment on this???

But i'd say one thing for sure...All the places i've read or heard about this,even my parents who did see the old version said that nothing of this sort ever happened that Ravana stepped out & hit Lakshmana!!

Ofcourse then,someone could be wrong!!

Prahasta's killing angers Ravana to such an extent that he himself arrives on the battlefield not just that, with him are Meghnaad, Atikaya, akampan,Kumbha-Nikumbha and Narantaka. [refer Yuddha kanda chapt 59 of Valmiki Ramayana]

Ravana fights with Sugreev, Hanuman and Lakshman before encountering Rama and is badly defeated by Rama.

So there's no wrong thing showed as far as my knowledge is considered.

translation-
Lakshmana the younger brother of Bharata struck that weapon falling upon him with arrows and darts, as if it were a sacrificial fire. Nevertheless, that spear entered Lakshmana's broad chest.The mighty Lakshmana, struck by the spear, lay on the earth, breathing fire. The king, rushing suddenly on him who was yet insensible, seized him brutally in his hands.
