Episode 28: In her anger, Diya decides to ruin Samrat's plans of bringing Gunjan on to the stage and with the help of Annie, gets Gunjan locked in a room before her performance.
Mayank is furious with Nupur for having lied to her about the project and is adamant on not going on to the stage for their salsa performance. As the curtains are about to be drawn open, Nupur finds herself standing alone in the midst of other couples on the stage.
Episode 27: Mayank realizes that Nupur has not been working on the project all by herself and gets angry and furious. Nupur tries repeatedly to apologise and reason with Mayank but he flatly refuses to even talk to her.
It's the day of the talent parade and Diya is expecting that Samrat is going to propose to her, thinking of it as the surprise Uday had spoken about. Uday is scared and stupefied. He reveals all to Samrat and asks him for help but Samrat turns a deaf ear. Diya overhears the conversation and realizing the truth is left seething in anger.
Episode 26: Uday again tricks a simmering Diya in believing that Samrat is holding back a surprise for her and that it was not meant to be revealed at the Diwali party. At the college, Samrat reinforces the surprise element for Diya, albeit his reference is to Gunjan which Diya again misunderstands.
Mayank gets thoughtful as his mother points out to him that Nupur's project report looks more like a bookish person's handiwork rather than an highly opinionated person's like Nupur. Mayank finally confronts Nupur about his doubts and she is left speechless and dumbstruck.
Episode 25: Nupur persuades Mayank to go with her to Samrat's Diwali party. Mayank is not too keen but Nupur is insistent. He finally gives in and reaches Samrat's house much to the shock and amazement of all present there.
At Samrat's house, Diya corners him and questions him about Gunjan's presence. He simply brushes the topic aside but Diya is not convinced. To get things her way, she declares that since Gunjan has been so helpful in setting up Samrat's Diwali party, she should add the icing to the cake by lending her voice to a song. Gunjan is really scared and nervous seeing so many people around her when Samrat comes to the rescue, he strums the guitar, sings and sets the momentum as all join in.
Episode 24: Nupur spends her first Diwali in the city with Mayank and his mom at their home. They have a gala time and Nupur is enjoying every bit of it except for whenever the project topic is discussed. She feels guilty for keeping Mayank in the dark for the same.
Gunjan on the other hand spends her Diwali at Samrat's house. Samrat makes sure that Gunjan feels comfortable by coaxing her to join the celebrations by setting up his home along with his friends for the Diwali party. But the dampner in the celebrations comes in the form of Diya who is shocked and furious as she finds Gunjan in Samrat's house enjoying the festivities.
