Seeing as no update was posted yesterday; here's a brief one. But before I start, wishing you all a Happy Diwali.
Shankar is stunned to realise that he has to kill Dharma and asks Rudra why. Rudra reminds of his promise not to ask questions and tells Shankar that it was this hesitation that prevented him from killing Simran and because of that weak moment, Shourya is no longer in the house. Shankar is tensed and Rudra looks on with tears in his eyes.
Dharma is offered a blank cheque by the minister to spy on Rudra. A furious Dharma holds the minister at gun point and point blank refuses.
Kallika gets impatient as she waits for Rudra to explode. Kashi assures her that Rudra is furious. Yasho blesses Swati and Ganga and tells them that they both look beautiful. Kallika slyly asks Swati why she is keeping a vrath and Swathi replies for her future husband.
Shankar is lost in thoughts about times spent with Dharma and Rudra's words. Meanwhile Dharma buys Choodiyan for Swati and says that when she wears these she will look just like a dulhan.
Suddenly, Dharma is shown with Shankar who tells him that he can't disobey Rudra, but neither can he carry out his orders. Shankar says that either he [Dharma] will die, or he [Shankar] will have to kill himself. Shankar inserts one bullet in to the gun and says that this is the only way.
Three scenes are shown.
Shankar points the gun at Dharma but it doesn't go of. Women at Singh House are shown listening to Yasho who explains about Karva Chauth. Shankar points the gun at his head but it doesn't go of. Gayatri is shown getting ready. Gun pointed at Dharma; again doesn't go of. Shankar points it at himself, Dharma tries to stop him but Shankar pays no heed. Gayatri's mother tells her that the moon will come up but Shankar won't. Meanwhile women pass thalis around. Swati prays. Shankar still has the gun to his head. Suddenly he turns and shoots Dharma.

Shankar drinks as he remembers shooting Dharma
That was it? I was disappointed by the direction of this episode; I think it could have done a lot better. Pushing that to a side; I loves Dharma's unwavering loyalty to Rudra and Shankar's disbelief at hearing that he has to kill Dharma and then the way Rudra looked on with tears in his eyes. So Dharma is dead.
It all seemed so sudden that for a while I was tempted to think it's a dream but after watching the preview, it can only be real.
