Sagar's Ramayan Criticism!!!

Before you all get angry...I just want to point out that I'm not in any way criticizing Ramayan, and NEVER would dream of doing it since I am a fan of both Ramayans!!! But I do feel that a certain "member" is enjoying criticizing not only the myths created by the Sagars, BR Chopra or what have you....but basically is relaying the message of it being wrong that our knowledge we share with eachother is wrong based on the portrayal by the Sagar's and that "their stuff is made up too much to be considered reliable source."

dear ur not at all taking the things out of context !!!!! yup there wud always b members who will feel happy in doing criticisms ,don't worry ,we all know tht our RAMAYAN is the best 😃

No desichica, you are not taking it out of context, because this is how you feel, and it is perfectly alright to share your feelings with us. I know what you are talking about, but personally, I don't think we should mind too much what other people say, because how they feel is their opinon too. As long as people give their reasons why they don't like a particular serial/mythological, it's not wrong, but only when it gets out of hand it should be taken under control. The member you are talking about is not really being rude. He is only telling his opinion, and maybe he's the kind of person who doesn't place too much trust in mythologicals, and that's not wrong at all. It's never wrong to trust books more than what's shown on TV (although the Sagars are the best you can get with serial directors😛). He's not bashing any actors, or using any mean words, so let's respect his opinons, just like we respect everyone else's opinon in this forum. His only setback in my opinion is that he does not give that much value to Tulsidas Ramayan, and says that Ramanand Sagar's Uttar Kand is not reliable because it does not stick with Valmiki Ramayan's Luv Kush story, but then again, maybe he grew up learning a different story from what was shown in Ramanand Sagar's Luv Kush. There's nothing wrong in that.

one more thing i wana say tht if one cannot trust sagars then tht person cannot trust anything !!!! as sagars r the titans in making mytho shows & they all hv got their research team (very experinced one) ,so the memebrs who hv any doubts abt sagars RAMAYAN keep tht in their minds tht sagars research team is the best & whatever sagars show in their show ,show after a great research !!!!😛 OUR RAMAYAN IS THE BEST !!!!!😃

hey desichica now days i am too busy with other work so i din't replied. i can understand how one feel if certain criticism comes and i also know whom you are referring but we cannot do anything. as there will always ppl who thing the way other not. let them do there work and we know what we believe is right. there is no point to stop them but to answer them. after all its freedom of speech which holds on forum as well. we all know sagars are pioneer at mythological work. this member even criticized old ramayan about its authenticity which earned a world record and wrote its name in gunees book of world record. let me tell u there is various versions of ramayan which contradicts one another in certain points. not only ramayan many puranas contradicts one another on certain points. only thing matters in which concept and books you believe. if you believe in one you cannot say other is fake. there is need of ultimate analysis. you cannot criticizes one on the basis of other as all are authentic but looks on situation from different point of view. only i want to say believe in what ur heart and intuition ask u to believe but don't criticize others if he believes something else. giving your reasons is good but criticism is not fair. this member critisize sagars for ramayan and BRC for mahabharat and gave F grade to shows. I want to ask then what does A grade acc to him means😕.

My point exactly Rajnish....thanx so much for understanding my perspective....I was just thinking that maybe i was just taking things out of context!!!! I mean I know every serial gets its criticism....but to say harsh things is another1!!!!
