SS: From Bani to Pronita

hey guys i'm fed up with way KS is going thought it would be fun to write my own script, i'm not expecting any comments.

Dear Lord all that she suffered in the name of Love for him and their nonexistent married life. Jai Walia never changed he still listen to his sister, acted like a zombie who did what was told but never acted with his brain. The Walia family less said the better Meera was right they were nothing more than a bunch of backstabbers do good to them they throw you out, manipulate them and they treat you like a god.

Dazed and confused Bani made her way out of the Samadhi of her kids tears blinding her, her life flashed before her eyes, all the sacrifices she made for her sisters, who never stood by her one even went as far as seducing her own brother in law. Her husband who was only around to create children, beautiful but fickle minded like him.

Bani did not know how far she walked and when she got hit by a passing car and how she got to a hospital and was eagerly waiting for her to get up.

When she finally opened her eyes it was a shock to see the only man she hoped never to cross paths with standing right in front of her "Mr. Deb" she whimpered!!!

Surprised as to how a complete stranger may know his name "Jeet" waited for the doctors to finish their check up on her after they gave her some sedatives to ease her pain and lull her back to sleep Aparajeet couldn't help but shake the feeling of familiarity surrounding him for this woman. He never forgot a face but it was not the face that intrigue him it was the voice and those eyes, He could never forget those eyes, it still haunted him even though she was proclaimed dead to the world; he could not fall out of love with her, his 'Bani'.

Aparajeet waited for the subject of his scrutiny to awake and enlighten him of the link that he missed. Who is she???

Bani awoke to bright lights and fierce pain, that's when she heard him say "Stay put I'll get the doctor, you were severely wounded because of me"

After the check up the doctor deemed her fit to leave prescribing her pain medications. Jeet escorted her outside and asked her "I'll can drop you home please tell me the address your family must be worried"

Hearing the words home and family open a floodgate of tears the onslaught for which Jeet wasn't prepared for.

He gently took her seated her in his Merc and drove of too his home just on the outskirts of the city, she had cried herself to sleep. When woke up this time the sun was setting and she was in somebody's bedroom, slowly the memories came flooding back : jai accusing her, her family throwing her out and finally being found by Aparajeet Deb. She did not know what to do or how to react her own blood failed to recognize her and tossed her out, will Mr. Deb do the same.

It was pondering over these thoughts when Jeet came to her with dinner "Here you are freshly prepared rice and dal. Eat you have to take medicines the doctor gave you." Her questioning gaze met with his inquisitive ones and for a brief moment she thought she saw a flicker of recognition in his eyes.

"I don't know what happened to you but I can understand it must have been traumatic for you, you can stay here as long as you want if you need anything just let me know. Don't worry I won't hurt you, you remind me of someone I dearly loved that's the only reason. "

Bani only nodded and then he added "I will wait for you to let me know who you are". He left. Bani ate her dinner took her medicines and went to sleep. Even in her sleep like state she was restless nightmares plagued her that's when Jeet heard her yell out "Don't leave me Mr. Walia". He knew it his heart could have never been wrong she was Bani or someone related to her. Jeet got into action he hired the best detective money could buy to trace the whereabouts of this lady who reminded him of Bani so much.

A week had passed without a word spoken both Jeet and Bani were coming to terms with their respective conclusions. Bani had decided to tell Jeet the truth and hope that he may believe her and help her; she no longer wanted to be the self righteous, sacrificing Bani who gave up happiness for others. Knowing that her children were on the right path she wanted to explore her own avenues as there was nothing left for her to hold on too.

Jeet waited for the stranger as well as his detectives to come through for him, it was while mulling over this he heard a knock "Come in"

"Mr. Deb" Bani said "I want to talk to you and ask you for your help"

"Sure I will do whatever I can but at least tell me about you."

"I am Bani" she said; he looked at her questioningly but she continued on telling him everything from her five years with him as Durga to Maithily to Pronita and everything she went through at the hands of Jai Walia, Meera and finally Jigyasa. Tears flowed freely between the both of them. Jeet quietly walked over to her and called out "BANI" that was all she needed she broke out crying and he hugged her protectively. He did not need any proof from her; her eyes confirmed everything he would never let her cry again he vowed.

After the initial awkwardness of their position they moved apart to discuss what future entailed for Bani. She stated determiningly that she did not want anything from the Walia except her identity and a divorce so she could resume her life before any of them had come into picture. He accepted. He stated a simple plan that would get her both and him her.

Aparajeet and Bani (Pronita) soon moved to back to Mumbai. Jeet found out that the Walia's could not get authorization to move out of the country because Rishi refused to leave India and Ganga, Jai relented and stayed on thinking that he was being faithful to memories of Bani and looked forward to life with their children.

Soon announcements were made regarding engagement of one the wealthiest millionaire and the biggest threat to the Walia's Aparajeet Deb, was back in town.

The Walia wanting to know his intention decided to pay a visit to Aparajeet Deb but were very surprised to get a personal invitation to his engagement party. Everyone especially Jigyasa decked up to go thinking today they will witness the biggest comical fiasco of the year a 50 year old man getting engaged (Aparajeet is younger than Jai here, thought it was much better).

What started out as a light party turned serious as soon as everyone laid eyes on Pronita specifically Jai, who experienced a feeling of jealousy so intense that he was ready to beat up Aparajeet black and blue and drag Pronita back to WM for a serious one-on-one.

Dresses in a baby pink traditional silk saree Pronita looked breath takingly beautiful but extremely tensed as to how was she going to face Jai and the family. Steeling her resolve and remembering all that they had done to her she gracefully glided down the stairs to meet Jeet as she called him now. He introduced her to his adopted son; Piyush who in a glance had fell in love with his soon to be mother and repeatedly kept thanking Aparajeet for such a wonderful gift. Pronita in turn turned on all her motherly instincts on this wonderful boy who helped her get over her depression and adjust to her new life with Jeet.

Jai fumingly walked over to Pronita and was about to raise his hand on her when Piyush stopped him and said "Don't you dare raise a hand on my mother Mr. Walia" that left Jai bewildered and confused didn't they know what kind of a woman she was he thought.

Jai was soon joined by Aparajeet who signaled him and Pronita to follow him, Piyush went with them to be an emotional support for his mother.

In Aparajeet's study Jai was given the papers Jeet had collected regarding Pronita's truth which Jai refused to believe and finally divorce papers from Pronita. Pronita too wished to live her life as Pronita now not as Bani as Bani was dead even for her. Jai in a fit of anger signed the divorce papers and threw back Pronita's papers calling them fabricated and declaring that his sister had told him everything about Pronita. He turned to Aparajeet and said you will be miserable with her to which he retorted " it will be you who will be miserable Walia for choosing to believe in your sister again". Jai just raced out of there leaving a teary Bani. Aparajeet looked at her and asked "do you still want to continue on with the engagement?" She looked at him with admiration and said "yes for my this son who loves me unconditionally and for you for believing in me unconditionally"

Engagement done, Jigyasa sneered at Pronita for trapping another rich guy, for which Pronita looked at her and slapped her with all her might the sound of which was heard by each and every member of the Walia clan Pronita replied " Jigyasa for insulting me in my own house I can have you kicked out like a witch you are but before pointing fingers at me let me remind you that you yourself have been living at your rich brother's mercies even after being married in another house, I at least am being married here not living so that I can wait for my brother to choke and die and transfer all his property in my name" with that Pronita left Jai who heard all this wondered dazed as to what was a lie and what was the truth.

Next few days Jeet and Piyush showered Pronita with every imaginable happiness; Jeet and Pronita decided to adopt another child a girl this time to remind pronita of Ganga, they adopted a ten year old girl who soon became the apple of their eyes. It was during this time that bani understood the true meaning of family and how they supported each other. She felt a strange attachment to Jeet and her kids and felt that this should be enough for her to be happy in true sense. Now bani would not cry for Walia family instead she would nurture and protect this new family as Pronita.

The wedding was set; it was to be held on Bani aka Pronita's birthday, again the whole Walia clan was invited as Jeet wanted one more chance to prove truth to Jai. Rishi was given the catering contract, Ganga kept insulting pronita who just decided to ignore her and shower attention on her adopted daughter, Ganga who was introduced as a little sister to Rishi and Ganga Sr. was not bothered with.

On the wedding day, the doctor who did Pronita's plastic surgery and her so called baba were dragged to Jeet's study and were explained their duties.

(Not too sure about wedding rituals here so please bear with me)

After the garlands the guests and Walia's mingled only reason they had come was for PR purposes only to show that no one was affected by Pronita's wedding. It was this time when Jai met Partho and the Plastic surgeon Jai recognized the doctor as he was with the lady who help calmed Krishna during Ganga's treatment.

Jai: Doctor Trivedi What are you doing here?

DT: Mr. Walia, arre what a surprise, how is Ganga? I'm actually here for Pronita's wedding remember the lady who calmed your daughter that's her, poor thing she is a fighter, she was almost dead when she was brought to my hospital burnt. I think she was pushed of a cliff; parthoji and jigyasaji were godsend for her they paid for her face change and rehabilitations.

Jai: Ganga is doing good, excuse me!!!

Confused about the doctors words Jai slowly made his way to Jeet's study and carefully examined the papers again he thought whether his sister would still hate Bani, would she lie about her being alive. No, Not possible Jigyasa knows Jai and Bani are soul mates she would not betray her brother!!!!

With that thought he went back to the party where he saw Pronita with Jeet laughing away, that was when it struck him that laughter, that twinkle in her eyes were same as Bani's.

Jai quickly decided to visit his ex wife Meera for some clarifications; meera now being kept in the asylum ward starting shrieking on seeing Jai "Have you come here to gloat Jai; I know you found you're Bani, Nooo but I killed Bani burnt her pushed her from a cliff still she did not die, she came back, she took you away from me Jai, she came back"

Meera's howling and shrieking words were all Jai needed, he collapsed under the weight of his own guilt; he had failed to recognize her yet again. Now he must get her back.

With that thought and hoping that he would not be late he raced towards the marriage venue. As soon as he got there he yelled "BANIIIII" shocking the Walia clan but mostly Jigyasa.

He begged her "don't leave me again I know everything now I am sorry please come back to me".

She looked at him with tears in her eyes and said "it's a little late now Jai" she called him Jai it was indication enough for him to understand that now she had changed forever. "I've waited for a long time to hear you call me Bani and our children call me mother, but alas it's too late you see the day you started doubting on me was the day I stopped living loving you I could not stop, but I waited and waited 22 years Jai, don't you think now I deserve some happiness"

JW: Bani, I promise you I will keep you happy please don't leave me I can't live without you.

Bani/Pronita(B/P): You said the same thing last time too before branding me as a prostitute and kicking me out of your house, you accepted meera as your wife in front of a party like this and left me to cry. I forgive you Jai Walia but I will never come back to you or that house which has only given me sorrow, I lost 22 years of my life because of you, I missed out on seeing my children grow up, I lost my first child trying to protect you from killers, I accepted your explanation after the fiasco created by Pia, but when I needed your understanding and care you left me to rot. No Jai, Bani is dead this is Pronita who is in front of you, who does not want to have anything to do with you.

JW: But our kids?

B/P: they are welcome to come here if they accept that I am bani but I know I do one more mistake they will turn on me and chuck me out again, I am more happy living with whatever little memory I have of them, moreover Jai for a change let me be happy.

It was then Rano finally broke out "di please don't leave me"

B/P: My sister still has a tongue left!!When you need me I should be there but Rano I have never found you to be there when I was the one in need so my dear sister please be quite.

This left everyone stunned; jigyasa stood there scared as to what Jai bhaiyya would do to her now, rest of the family looked at her with disgust. Seeing this reaction Pronita flinched but remained unmoved the children then spoke up but Pronita quieted them with a raised finger and said "I have given your father many chances but other than giving me you guys I have not had a single happy event in this marriage so please don't stop me

Ganga now crying comes to ask forgiveness for her behavior but Pronita gently shrugs her off and says you are forgiven it's the least I can do as I think of Rishi as my own son.

Pronita approached Jeet and asked if was having second thoughts to which he quickly took the magsutra and completed the pheras.

Pronita and Jeet married. Their children were very happy, the Walias unhappily left the place leaving Jigyasa behind.

A year later

Pronita finally understood the true meaning of a happily married life with Jeet and her kids, even though they shared more of a friendship than husband wife relation, Pronita and Jeet made a point to communicate with each other properly and openly. She also opened her painting school and a design boutique which runs successfully.

As for Jai he finally accepted that his Bani was happy and that mattered. But he decided to stay away from Jigyasa and so did the family. They refused to talk to her.

The children often visited their mom but seeing her happy with her new family upset them but still decided to be good sport about it.

Rano finally accepted the error of her ways and moved out of the WM with Adi, Dadi and Varun to live separately. She still tries work up courage to face her di.
