He knows it wont drive her away because he knows how much she loves him i guess he is doing this all due to the pining he had to do for her...

becuz prachi has got her loyalties mixed up and she seems to care more abt her fake family than her own husband! so he jst wants her to realise this

If you think about it it is all proteek's fault haha he suggested the great idea of Prachi posing as Panchi...i guess from then on for Prachi she does unofficially have the responsibility of being the bahu so really she is in a dilemma now...bcos its not pick and choose anymore...ANOTHER family will be affected is the process!
