Afra's post has been deleted, but rest assured, I just wanted to know..how should a mature woman behave when she is molested or is a victim of an attempted rape. She is not supposed to cry?? I remember KT went to the bathroom shower and cried buckets. Nandini was shocked beyond her guts, but she has cried enough for it as well. I dont see wht a 50 year old woman's rape is any different from a 20 somethings. Its heinous and the mere fact that you compared Ganga's molestation so easily to being caught by a father of a girl having fun with a young guy, shows that it only affects you if its your fav character getting raped/molested, rest for every body else its OK or it can be ridiculed? I dont think so. It was awful when it was for KT and Nandini and its still as bad as it can get for Ganga. The post very clearly read, no bashing, and atleast to me, your post was nothing short of a direct take at character bashing.
@TVfan , I agree..the reactions are bound to be different.
And what i cannot understand is how can one so callous to point tht someones reaction wasn't genuine enough when they were just assaulted. How is a woman supposed to react? be it 50 or 20..whts maturity got to do with getting molested? a 50 year old woman cant cry just bcoz she is 50?? I think she has every reason to cry! She is married, has sons and tht itself is shameful enough to burst into tears. If a mother gets molested, I cannot understand how else she is supposed to react, other than crying, bcoz its much much different than a 20 year old. And in either case, its the worst thing to happen to a woman. So I would request my learned friends to really think about wht the topic is really about, before outrightly bashing someone.
