New Delhi, Sept 24: The hit couple of four films, Akshay Kumar and Priyanka Chopra are soon to be seen together again after a gap of three years. They starred in 'Andaaz', 'Aitraaz', 'Waqt – Race against time' and 'Mujhse Shadi Karogi', but decided not to be seen together onscreen and off screen for some time. What was the reason for this strange pact when the chemistry was working all right?

Surprisingly, it was Akki's wife Twinkle Khanna who brought an end to the pairing of this hit jodi. On seeing the sizzling chemistry between Akki and Priyanka, the Industry was abuzz with rumours of link-up of the onscreen couple. Twinkle got very defensive and possessive, and hubby dearest had to promise the pining wife that he would steer clear of the lissome B-town babe. Priyanka was very understanding about the whole affair, and an amicable agreement was reached between them regarding not to work or socialize with each other.

Now, it seems that the 'green-eyed' Twinkle has regained her confidence in her Khiladi as he is rumoured to rekindle the old onscreen chemistry with Priyanka again in Priyadarshan's next venture. It is slated to be a comedy, but whether a sequel to 'Hera Pheri', is still undeclared.

Akshay's stardom has grown all-time huge, and Priyanka's career is shining as well. And Priyanka has Harman as well. Now, they both seem secure in their own worlds, and there is no room for petty rumours. Hope, Twinkle understands this, else Akki might find it hard to limit his scope to satisfy a worrying wife.
