I have seen this and must say it's a very good glance at what Bollywood is. Although I think the guy, Joshua, has much much more grace and is dancing much better than Katie. The thing I think is that non-indians don't understand fluidity. Everything is mostly taught in 1-2-3..so it ends up no looking fluid and flowy at all. That's just my view, but a very good take on Bollywood! you should check out the jhoom barabar group dance. The guys are amazing in that one, while the girls are dancing more like boys! 😕 Shweta

thanks for replying..well i agree we lack the fluidity...but i also think we dont have such amazing cheoreographers...well i loved mia michaels, napoleon.etc...well i have followed this how myself and agree joshua and teich were 2 of my fav. and i loved the way he handled this song..his mudras were so correct..even indian guys look clumsy doing that...

Hey I meant that non-indians lack fluidity when dancing to Indian songs. 😳

sorry i misread it but i dont think they lack fluidity..in fact the guys did a good job..i do agree the girls lack the feminity of an indian girl..but then again they are so flexible and fluid in salsa, waltz, contemporary, etc..our guys and gals look a little rigid in those forms..so i think its just a matter of familiarity..
