Adi forces Rani to skip celebrations!

Rani Mukerji has left for Punjab with co-star Anupam Kher for a long shooting schedule of the new Yash Raj film. And this will result in her missing out on the annual Durga Puja celebrations in Mumbai. Rani has just shifted to her new house a few months back so she was really looking forward to the Durga Puja celebrations. She was fairly hopeful that Aditya Chopra (the producer) would give her a break from the shoot.

The Mukherjees have hosted 'puja' on a grand scale with Ram Mukerji (Rani's father) and the late Shomu Mukherjee (Kajol and Tanisha's dad ) organising the festivities. This year would be the 51st year of celebrations but Rani will be missing. Rani's co-star Shahid Kapoor has allotted the dates and given Shahid's packed schedule it's simply not possible for him to rearrange his schedule.

Obviously this resulted in a major tiff between Rani and Aditya. They were overheard having a major argument at Yash Raj studios. Then they went through a 'No Talking' phase where Adi even skipped Rani's birthday party. Rani felt Aditya's feelings towards her were changing but that doesn't seem to be true. They had sorted out their 'issues' within a week.
