Recap : Dadaji asks Sonu to identify the real Payal.
Today :
Sonu comes and stares at both the women ; the family members are all apprehensively looking at him .He looks at both of them but doesnt say anything and ultimately he falls unconscious , maybe from the night's exertions.
Both the women simultaneously bend down crying "Sonu!"
Om comes and picks Sonu up.
Sulochana cries out " Stop all this real-fake nonsense , O god , you only have put our family through this trouble , surely you'll find a way through it too"
Shubh's eye falls on the mangalsutra which was kept on the thali so that he could put it on Aastha for their second marriage.He picks it up and the Aastha dressed in bridal wear puts her hand out and Shubh gives it to her.The saree wali Aastha is dismayed.
Shubh tells the saree wali " Take off your mangalsutra"
Saree dressed Aastha (SDA) :"Mangalsutra...why?"
Shubh:Do as I say
SDA takes off the mangalsutra and then Shubh pulls both the women , by hand , closer to the fire burning on the mandap.He makes both to hold their mangalsutra carrying hands over the fire.
Shubh then watched both closely.Everyone is surprised at what he seems to be doing.
After some time , the bridal wear dressed Aastha (BDA) starts fidgeting ; she looks uncomfortable.But SDA is staunch and isnt even looking at her hand , she is looking at Shubh all the time (YES!!!!!!!)
BDA or Payal , as we have now come to know , is unable to bear the heat any longer and drops the mangalsutra into the fire.
Everyone is shocked , now Shubh has come to know who is the real Aastha and who is Payal , he looks at Aastha with tears in his eyes , who is still holding her hand over the fire.Shubh makes her put her hand down and turns to Payal and he slaps her (YES!!!!)
He says "So you are the real Payal....I got to know because I knew you wouldnt be able to bear the heat of the pavitra agni , as for you , your own well being is more important than the nishaani of your suhaag....but she bore the heat fearlessly and did not let anything happen to the sign of her suhaag"
He continues" It was under your influence that I began to suspect my own Aastha....you will die Payal, you have to die !"
Shubh grabs Payal by the neck when the police inspector and a woman police officer (whom Pratham had called) arrive and stop him saying "Kanoon ko apne haath mein mat lijiye.Ise giraftar karo"
A desperate Payal sees only one way out : when the woman officer is about to handcuff her , she snatches the pistol from the officer's holster and points it at everybody , telling the inspector to move back.
She moves towards Om and forces him to put Sonu down , while Sulochana cries "No Payal! Not Sonu , he is my Swayam's aakhri nishaani.....we'll do whatever you want , but dont hurt him!"
Payal says " If anybody moves forward , then you'll see the dead body of the Ranawat khaandaan's waaris..."
But Aastha moves forward and challenges Payal , saying "Tum Sonu ko maarna chaahti ho ....then kill him.I'll also see how the birth giving mother will kill ker own child "
Payal warns her not to challenge her .
Aastha says " Yes , we too will be very sad on losing Sonu , but lets see how the mother will feel , because then there will be no one to call her mother"
Payal's hand starts shaking and Aastha slaps her (Go Girl!!!!) and takes away the pistol.
Aastha : Payal , I knew u would not kill Sonu , because the game of destruction you have played till now was all because of Sonu , and I knew you would not hurt him...justice can be gained but you do not have to resort to revenge for it ...but why am I telling you this , you wont understand because the woman in you is dead ....you're a selfish woman Payal ....I feel ashamed to say that Swayam bhaiya fell in love with such a disgusting woman as you "
The police take Payal away (finally!!!!) and before going , she looks at Shubh , Aastha and everyone else with hatred but finally breaks down on seeing Sonu and allows the police to lead her away.
Aastha turns and goes to Shubh ; Shubh caresses her face with his hands and they hug for a long,long,long time (Yes)
Everyone is happy but Anushka has a sarcastic expression on her face .
Sulochana takes Sonu to Dadaji ; Sonu holds Dadaji's finger and kisses his hand impulsively and Dadaji's heart melts.He tells Shubh-Aastha :
Shubh , Aastha , tum dono ke naam ko ek saath lene se Shubh Aastha ka bhaav prakat hota hai ( direct translation - auspicious belief or you can say good belief) , and thats why God has endless mercy on your love , thats why even despite so many ups and downs , you two have met ....Shubh , give more proof to your relationship , put the mangalsutra on Aastha"
Shubh puts the mangalsutra around Aastha's neck.
Just then , Sonu suddenly becomes unconscious again.

Next week :
Dadaji " For Sonu's life to be saved , we must go to our native place Jodhpur , to perform a puja for our family goddess"
Aastha (happily) : If Sonu's life is saved , I'll do this pooja myself
Sulochana (worried) : Whoever has performed this puja , his/her life has always been in danger!
Sulochana sees the chandelier swinging and the lightbulbs flickering and she cries "Aastha!" and pushes Aastha out of the way.Just then the chandelier crashes to the floor.
YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Party time!!!!!!!!
Payal has gone!!!!!!!!!!!!!Yipee!!!!!!!!!!Aastha is back!!!!!!!!!!!!Shubh and Aastha have been reunited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
