'I'm In Love With Thailand!'
Says actor Ayaz Khan
I've been to Thailand numerous times but each time I go there I discover something new about it. Thailand has something for everyone—right from scenic mountains to gorgeous beaches and a variety of things to keep one occupied. While Thailand is a great place to go sightseeing, Bangkok is the place to go crazy and shop. And if you're an animal lover, the Tiger Sanctuary is the place to go where I actually had the opportunity to pet
tigers and even deer. All one needs is guts! Although the staff is always present and the tigers are on a leash, one still feels a little apprehensive in the presence of such magnificent creatures. Who wouldn't?!
The localites are warm and friendly people, who are always smiling and more then ready to assist you might you need any help. Since Buddhism is the largest followed religion here, I saw a lot of beautiful Buddhist temples and even learnt a few phrases of the local language. The party scene there is also very happening; Kopanang Island is known for it's full moon rave parties which go on for three days and three nights! In fact my friends and I are planning on going there next month just to experience that. At first I used to get very nauseous with the cuisine there not so much so because of what they used to make but because of the oil they use. It stinks! Only after some time did I get used to Thai food. And the craziest thing I've sampled there are fried crickets, which weren't as exciting as I thought they'd be! Another thing I simply love about Thailand are the relaxing massages. They barely cost anything and are a great way to unwind after a long day of sightseeing or shopping!
