Had a hunch end was near even though didn't want it.Excellent ending of a great ff. Shahid getting Bani's dad to accept Jainal is great. The explainations are very logical. You have handled a delicate sensitive subject very well.

Rafael & Hindu boy for Akira are kind of little filmy. But shows how Jb alliance changed the family.

How did Rowshan accept bani. Jai's chabi I guess. Then with pota Aryan in picture she gave her betta Jai to bani.

Jainal & bani doing kanyadan was cute.

Hey Tin!! 👏 I think this is one of the most sensitive issues you have handled but there is nothing can complain about. Bani and Jai's marriage was just a match made in heaven. I cant see and I think I will never can see how religion can come in between matters of the heart. Religion is about love but I can see the reluctance in accepting the 'different person'. It is scary and unconventional but it is not impossible. I think habits of life can be more difficult for two different people. There have been interreligion marrages in my family and there was some frowning but most of the time from people who we were not that close to (distant relatives) My own parents got my eldest aunt married to a Dutch man. My uncle's skincolour is white, he had brown hair and brown eyes. a contrast to the black eyes and black hair in our family My uncle is one of the sweetest man I know. He doesnt react to us calling him Uncle in Dutch but he does react when we call him phoepha!😆 My sencond aunt also got married to a dutch man. she initally had some problems with her in-law as her mother-in-law was a Rowshan type woman. My youngest uncle once didnt greet her like she had expected, by shaking hands (and I agree he likes to irritate the heck out of people till its not funny) and I remember there was huge discussion. But that same woman was so moved and touched when my elder sister and me (we were 12 and 9 then) did a 'Namaste'to her like we did to all the elders in the family and for us it was the most normal thing as we didnt see a difference between them and other relatives. At that point they understood that when you treat everyone like the way you want to be treated then the differences dont matter that much. we are all human in the end with the same feelings.

Tin, sorry for the long post and thanks once again for this amazing story.
Will be waiting for the next one 😉

Jayati,
Great ending. I had a feeling that's what the grandfather would ask of Jai. I really loved how you showed the progress from intolerance/fear for the unknown to acceptance. Very well written. For the first time I loved your supporting characters more than the main protagonists.

Dear Tin,
The other day I was watching Junnon On NDTV and was so moved to see the contestants from Pakistan dressed in the attire of Lord Krishna and sang with so much devotion that it brought tears to the eyes. Yesterday a small boy of Sikh community dressed up like krishna and danced to the song. He had very cutely coveerd his pagri with the small crown with lots of head decoratiion. So even I personally feel most of us are very tolerant towards each other and love to follow each other's customs. It is only the dirty politics which tends to pull us apart. Your story was very very good and you mananged to march off with dignity without hurting the muslims or the hindu sentiments. Hats off to you.
