Amidst all the debates that happened in past and currently, selfishness has been touched. Time to confess (might ease your mind) have you been selfish at some point of time in life?

Is being selfish without emotionally harming others wrong thing to do?

isn't the world selfish?

I am selfish. I don't always find it wrong. I try not to be inconsiderate though. I had enough of playing nice all the time. Now I try to put myself 1st!

yes I am selfish. If looking after ur family and yourself first as long as it doesnt affect others then its not wrong and I dont mind doing it.

In todays world, if u remain quiet and dont act selfishly then people will stamp all over you. So one has to be selfish to a certain extent to go ahead in life.

Yes, I have been at times.

No, as far as you are not harming others emotionally or physically.

Yes, ( my country,I love my parents,my siblings, my husband,, my children, , my friend,my collegues, my native place etc. etc.etc. etc.)

No I never had been selfish, not even once.

I guess at somepoint. It hurts others emotionally and makes them feel as if they're just using us. I had experienced selfish people all my life, they always talk to me whenever they want something and are super lazy to do their work by themself.

Yes totally especially nowadays. I think there are very RARE un-selfish people but it's hard to find those kind of people.

I am definetly selfish, i am happy when my family and friends are happy. I have figured out that if i can some how keep them happy i can be happy.

Of course, I am selfish...! In today's world...we can't afford to be Tulsis or parvatis...if u r the goody goody types...ppl will take advantage of u...but at the same time...being selfish doesn't mean being arrogant...

c...its like this...u shouldn't be always selfish...but if u feel that ppl are taking advantage of u...then be blunt...learn the art of saying NO!

Well I think I'm kinda young to have done anything soo selfish...

I think I've always had that feeling that I want that all for myself...but I don't really exhibit it...but I guess that's all one nd the same thing...

so in conclusion..lol...I would say taht I am selfish at times...

And I think it's very human to want the world to revolve around you and with time and age you come to realize that you care about others too much to want the world to revolve around you...

But I do wanna add that we ppl need to learn to find a balance between total selfishness and complete self-sacrifice... You can't always let yourself be walked over....and it's horrible to walk over everyone else... We really need to find a balance.

And I don't like it when ppl say ohh the world is big bad nd evil...u have to be bad...why should u succumb to other ppl's evils...why not make a difference....we all wanna see a different world, but unfortunately we as individuals rarely try to begin this process. (a lil off track...but whaterever)
