pl let us all not see negativity where there is none. in any case, these shows are scripted and such 'moments' are deliberately woven in in the script to make the episode spicy for the audience (for eg. the whole raja letting off against aneek business on camera when in reality they are extremely close friends).
i won't get into who's a better singer cos that depends on how well the audience appreciates and understands music too (i know of college kids who find m.s. subbulakshmi and pandit jasraj 'intolerable'! šš¤¢) but all i'll say is aneek has a solid background in sangeet and is surely not a nausikhiya who doesn't know what he's talking about. so if, despite that, he apologised to meenal after the judges disagreed with him, i see it as his decency and respect towards the Guru-shishya parampara where the shishya does not go against the judgement/gyaan of the Gurus/elders and humbly accepts it; and also as his compassion towards another contestant (meenal) who he might have hurt by his words. that's not being malicious, rather it's being decent and humble - the greatest characteristics in an artist. šš hats off to aneek for keeing these characterisitcs intact despite all the popularity and success he's getting! š
