Hi guys and gals!a few weeks back,a news channnel(dont remember the name) was showing that Kalki will be born today(that day on which the telecast was shown) to a Brahmin's house in some area.All the people wers singing ,dancing and celebrating!Although people were were happy!BUt I dont belive.What do u think??

But it is said that Lord will take incarnation at the end of Kali-Yuga and its is only the beginning of Kali-Yuga.

There are 432000 years in KaliYuga from which only about 5000 years has been passed so i guess thats a long way ahead.

On which channel did they show this? and when?

Thats true yaar it also states this in the Gita as well,

Also i heard from my Aunts Guru, that when the planets align (like this happens very rarely) a great soul is born on earth etc...

that's confusing...I read it at so many places on net that kalyug is ending in a few years and we are in a transition phase..a yug will change and this will happen on dec. 21, 2012 . On this day, the solar system will be aligned to the milky way galaxy. yug changing means..destruction and creation of a new world. so may be that channel ( i hve doubts tht it's India TV..) might have given correct info.

As noted perviously by bharat999, we are in the 5000 year of Kaliyug (which is like 400,000 yrs or something)...Its called the Bronze age (Gold and silver were the 1st ones bc it was nicer)....

They say only Gods name will save us from the dark forces (i.e. Greed, coruption, hate, anger, lust etc...)..That means being in Gods road etc...
