Could Kat have fitted into BAH?

She was supposed to do a role in BAH was later dropped due to the issues with the length...

Would she have been able to play one of the 3 roles in BAH

1) mahi..

playing an 18 year old punjabi girl would've been a big challenge for her but then remember namaste london...she did look gorgeous in the salwar suits that she wore and very much a punjabi kudi

2) radhika...

hmm an urban girl who looks comfortable in ganjis and shorts...dances to Lucky boy looking sultry and sexy....looks vulnerable as she sits on those steps of the marriage registrar office and transforms into a haughty star...this doesnt sound too difficult

3) gayatri...

girl who juggles jobs to see her through B school, drop dead gorgeous and intelligent...very doable...except for that intelligent part maybe coz Kat has mostly played an effective equivalent of a dumb blonde in hindi movies....but maybe she could have pulled it off...after all even Deepka looked pretty uncomfortable talking about X box and the gaming business... infact Kat would be very much at home playing an Indian girl in a foriegn country...

Now the biggest problem...her dialogue delivery...she seems to have improved lately and even dubbed for herself in SIK... did a pretty OK job too....and talking of dialogue delivery even Deepika has a lot of work to do there....she has to work on her sing song child like manner of speaking...you can get away with that only if you are a Sridevi...

well thats that...do excuse my tongue in cheek...thinking aloud post... if it offends you...

well all 3 girls are perfect for the role...

minisha as mahi:raj-mahi falls in love in teen years and like all teenagers goes through at that time HEARTBREAK(first love)

bipasha as radhika:raj-radhika falls in love but for raj its just mere attraction due to the hotness radhika possess in her but radhika falls in love with him and at that age also a normal situation HEARTBREAK(attraction)

deepika as gayatri:i really don't understand this love story but loved gayatri character being the strong independent women who have no restriction in whatever she does and deepika suits the characters alot but just that it can be explored but got ruined to the lack of screen presence of gayatri's role....raj falls in love with gayatri but then got a heartbreak and it was a lesson for him to learnt what he have done in his past when he was in love but not ready for a commitment and breaks the girls heart who loves him dearly.....(matured love)

now for katrina in my story i would love katrina be the 4th girl whom ranbir will fall in love and then marriage....and should dumped gayatri because she broke his heart and now when that love has happened its not love but just infatuation...because now he has been matured he knows the true meaning of love which his past have teached him on their own ways but she taught him a lesson and make him realise his mistake and he will always be grateful to gayatri but then now when he knows what is love could never accept love which already have dumped him when he is serious about life.....and raj-gayatri can be friends and after years raj is still single and also kept some track of his past love mahi...radhika and gayatri and how are they in their lives while going for a tour something he meets katrina and falls in love with her and makes a proposal and this time a marriage

it would be nice and a surprise to see raj dumping gayatri and ends up with katrina in the end....because gayatri did not love raj like what mahi and radhika did and dumping him in that manner when he was all matured was a cruel thing to do....raj-gayatri should be friends and raj ends up with katrina...that gives a good end

I agree there..the raj - gayatri track was rather hurried and underdeveloped...we never understood how and why Gayatri changed her mind....

thats why i say their story was never developed all we saw was gayatri did not love raj but just befriend with raj why sudden change of heart and how....thats why i felt they should have give a new turn by introducing kats and like this we will see ranbir-kats chemistry too...i am sure it will be hot...

but yaar honestly what i want....in this story was....all 3 love stories are ok beautifully shot though raj-gayatri was not well written but its good in some ways because raj realise his mistake what he have done to mahi and radhika....but i would love a twist where mahi totally lost faith in love after the heartbreak but the she agrees for engagement with kunal after years....then as for radhika she found someone(john)in her life after the heartbreak who supported but she also lost faith in love and could not show the love to john which he is waiting to see in her eyes.....here raj suffereing heartbreak from gayatri and closes his eyes to realise whom he actually loved and experience love and it shows mahi's face and he knows what a big mistake he have done that he have hurt his first love and in any cause wants her back in his life as now he loves her alot....and through his travel he meets radhika and mends what he have done and unite john-radhika and goes amritsar straight where he gets to know mahi is getting engaged and he gets heartbroken and makes a entry to the wedding and seeks forgiveness and wants her back in his life but she refused because she was hurt so much by him for so many years and raj is heartbroken and he will do all things that will make mahi love him again and she does love all over again but then she knows her parents respect is more important and agrees for the marriage despite loving raj and kunal comes to know that mahi still loves raj and unites raj-mahi....i wanted this story it will be all great....but then its a different concept and he ends up with gayatri wished katrina makes a entry

I soo agree with you guyz...Raj-gatyrii shoulld never ended up...the director could have chopped off two songs or done anything to fit katrina in..at least a guest appearrence in the end....ending up RAJ-gaytri was kinda stupid....yes raj gaytri could havee been friends...and raj could have move on and u know then enters katrina...

adn yess Kat did a OKay job in SIK at least better then Deepika...did u notice the last part when she says "shutup i am trying to think" that totlaly killed the moment....

I wish Katrina was there..but no probs...actually waiting for Ranbir-Kat jodi in Ajab Prem!

raj-gayatri ending up together was dull part of the film because there was never a love story between them except for the song khuda jaane....it was only a small appearance of gayatri to make raj realise that whatever he does to mahi and radhika was so mean when the girls were madly in love with him in fact he have rejected 2 of his true love indeed....though i feel that among the 2 girls he sincerely loved mahi but then could not accept the commitment...

the ending would be good either if raj dumps gayatri and ends with kats or raj realising that its mahi he always loved and now after so many years he realised and brings back his ladylove into his life and while travelling he meets radhika and settles her life with her true soulmate...that would be a great ending...and leaves gayatri role as special appearance

i think walking away with KAT would have been the best choiceeeeeeeee

i agree with you...the climax just ruined the whole story which was predictable and boring that is why everyone says that first part was nice and second part was boring....going away with kats would be the best choice but all got ruined with nowhere raj-gayatri story.....its ok we can explore ranbir-katrina chemistry on their upcoming film can't wait to see at least the promo of their film at least to look how great they look together as we know ranbir has a habit of making chemistry with every girls he is paired with whether its sonam...minisha...deepika...bipasha....he makes great chemistry with them....and i am sure ranbir will look great with katrina

wid kat being dere i dun think ranbir wuld ever ve ended wid any of the three ladies...n he himself is very fond of kat as he has said in an interview...but luckily she isnt dere otherwise her consecutive 7 hits list wuld ve been screwed...n ya da cat fite between kat n bips wuld also ve resulted in da atmosphere nt being as cool as it had been on da sets.
