Mumbai, Aug 19: Salman Khan has finally offered to wear a wig for forthcoming film, 'Veer', directed by Anil Sharma. And the wig is not an ordinary one; it has a glass fitted on the top. No, it's not because of the ageing actors' alarming hair fall, but because of his insistence on doing a scene right.
The dude had already been toning up his muscles and working out rigorously to acquire a brawny look for the role of a warrior in the film but a particular scene put him under a grave problem.
Salman had to shoot for a dance sequence that involved a balancing act. He had to balance a glass on his head. 'Sallubhai' was flabbergasted and he broke many glasses to get the scene right. The studio reverberated with the sounds of glasses breaking one after the other until the director gave up. He offered to change the scene, but the actor came up with an idea. He insisted on getting a wig made with a glass fitted on it.
'Sallubahi' finally got the wig made, and the dance sequence was shot. The dance number also features Sohali Khan and Mithun Chakraborty.
'Veer', a period film that will have Salman playing a brave warrior. The film is produced by Vijay Ghalani and the music for the film has been composed by Sajid-Wajid. Let's see what Salman's wig does for this one!
