What's in a name?

What's in a name they say ... but one name seems to have struck a chord with millions of tellywood viewers all across the globe. No prizes for guessing guys, I am talking about Armaan! I remember the time I was in love with a certain "Armaan Sir" from Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahin. I was impressed with Aproova Agnihotri's dimpled smile, roguish charm and less than perfect attitude. Circa 2008 and Dr. Armaan Mallik a.k.a. KSG seems to have taken the nation by storm. Same equation - smile, charm and attitude.

I am sure that "Armaan" is the most popular name used in all the serials today. But why has this name been associated with some of the most lovable divas on TV screens? Is there some magic that makes one soar to popularity because of a simple name? Or is it the actors that render themselves completely to the characters they play?

Well no offense to Mr. Shakespeare, but the name has never ceased to fascinate me because I believe that it ultimately it fulfills my heart's desire (Armaan) i.e. being thoroughly entertained ... 😃

Tammana - I have to admit myself that I've become more aware of this word in the past few months than ever before. Wonder why?
