Whether it is or isn't i'm pretty sure he wouldn't want his email address to be splashed on some website. If he wanted to give his email address out he would've done so ages ago and not chatted to people on indya.com instead.
So why not respect his privacy and leave him alone?? If he wants to chat he surely will like he's done before but i think the last thing he might want to do after a 7am-11pm shift is to filter through the fan mail in his inbox and IM when he probably gets loads by post anyway. We might also be distracting him from talking to important friends and family that he doesnt get to stay in touch with.
That way we don't get hurt if the email turns out to be fake (what a waste of time that would be!) and we get a happier Karan who loves his fans more.
