As I sit at the airport, browsing through the net, waiting for my connecting flight back home, I happened to flick through the forum, and, came across KSG's latest interview...
After reading the interview, I am thrilled! My quirky quest for the Indian male equivalent of the ultimate dumb blonde has come to an end! 😉
He's done full justice to the requirements - the archetypical "dumb blonde", while viewed as attractive and popular, is also criticised as lacking in both common street-sense and academic intelligence, often to a comic level. He's good looking, attractive, obviously popular, but alas, also lacking in finesse / sensibility to a comic level! 😛
I am hardly a prude, but someone needs to tell the dude that subtlety is far more sexy and attractive!
P.S: For those not aware, Marie Wilson was Hollywood's ultimate dumb blonde from early movie roles to the radio program bringing her stardom, "My Friend Irma." There have always been dumb blondes but none so establishing the classic stereotype as the 39-23-38 Wilson and the actress was forever identified with the typecast.
