^ omg u only liked ONE big bang song?!?!?! OMO....*faints* did u listen to Tae Yang's new album? (he's one of the members of BB)....gahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh....let me get over this shock first lolz
okay onto ur question...... heres my theory....
i think alot of korean artists are approaching the japanese market because its one of those logical steps to take over the asian music industry (main ones being korean, japanese and chinese).....alot of artists try their hand at the japanese market because there's already quite a few japanese-korean fans as well as its a bit easier to break into compared to china......so far only a couple of korean artists have made some impact in the japanese market (DBSK is one of them but they spent like over a year in japan promoting).....so its not that easy but its something some kpop aritsts give a shot....i think its just a conincidence at the moment that alot of korean aritsts are promoting in japan...also, if ur launch/debut doesnt go so well in korea...you learn japanese and head off there (i think thats what FT island has done).....theres tough competition in japan though, because unlike korea, alot of american artists have promoted in japan and done well....so kpop artists do face competition from american artists.......ooh and the more fans u have = more album sales....so if u can have fans from korea AND japan...well then all u have left to conquer is china LOLZ......
ps. listen to big bang's song "with u"...its in english intended for the japanese market =)
argh someone wanna explain to me why the heck my sigs dont show up!?
