Characters

Janvi is called jaanu, she lives in lucknow with her parents, a young sister, chacha and chachi and their son, who is also young then jaanu. They are middle class family running a shop.

Jaanu tops in her school and in the whole Agarwal Community. Everyone is very pleased apart from chachi she is the negative character.

Jaanu wants wants to study further and wants to do MBA in Mumbai, chachi finds out about jaanu's plan and plans against her. She wants jaanu to not study further and to get married.

She talks jaanu's father into not letting jaanu study further and to get her married, as if she studies too much she will not find a guy, or the guy that will match up to her will ask a lot of dowry and they cannot afford it, as they are middle class people.

Jaanu's father says no to jaanu studying further, even if she get scholarship, because he needs to consider society as well and get his daughter married. He is not against her dreams but he has to fulfil his duties and cannot ignore the society they live in. (a couple of examples are shown which back up the point chachi is making and in persuading jaanu's father)

Chachi takes jaanu's scholarship letter and doesn't tell anyone and burns it and on the other side jaanu is worried and w8ng for her scholarship letter.

Jaanu's father is about to meet up with an accident but a guy comes and saves him. (I think he is the lead male protagonist). Jaanu ties her dupata on this hand as its bleeding and they take him home. He behaves well and everyone thanks him. Jaanu's mum leaves to get water and prasadh, before she is back the guy leaves and jaanu says she will go give him prasadh he wouldn't have gone too far. She goes out and gives him the prasadh n they both share a shweet romantic moment

Chachi talks to herself and plans to do something evil. At 5 in the morning she leaves home and visits pandit ji and we cant hear wht they talk about!
