Rohit Roy's chat show on Zoom titled Inside Bollywood was witness to B-Town drama recently.
Vidya Balan was told she was the only B-Town actor on the show. On reaching the sets, however, the actress learned that Ronit Roy, the brother of the show's host would also be on the show.
Vidya wasn't happy that she was being clubbed with a TV star.
The Parineeta star refused to emerge from the van for two hours after learning about her co-guest. She made her displeasure known.
Nothing in common
A source from the set reports, "Vidya was upset about Ronit's presence on the show. She was heard enquiring sarcastically how Ronit fitted in a show called Inside Bollywood, as he was a small screen star."
She was expecting to be paired opposite someone from Bollywood. She was heard cribbing that she didn't have anything common to share and talk about with Ronit.

Vidya finally relented after being pressured by her PR and the production team. The actress had come on the show to promote Kismat Konnection and decided to go ahead for her film. Vidya finished her portions and Ronit came on the last segment.
Host Rohit Roy, of course, dismisses the drama, "I don't compromise on the format for any of my guests. So the question of changing the format for Vidya or her having any problems, doesn't arise. In fact, Vidya was very sweet and had no problems at all."
Kya Konnection?
The host says that Ronit and Vidya were paired for a reason Rohit says, "Vidya was there to talk about Kismet Konnection. I feel Ronit had a sort of connection as luck and fate have played a huge role in his life. This was clearly the common factor."
