Hey people 😊

I've always been a fan of Mahabharat's Bhishma - I like what's written in the book, and also I liked the two TV versions I'd seen (BR Chopra's Mahabharat, and Mr Sanjay Khan's Kavya Mahabharat)... and now I'm liking KHMK's Bhishma 👍🏼

However, I wouldn't day that Ronit Sir was the only good factor so far... I mean, I think that Mr Kiran Karmarker, Saakshi ji, and also the dude that played the teenage Devavrat were very good also 👍🏼

And also, I thought that Rakshanda ji was great as Amba! I'd seen her work only once before in Kasamh Se, but I didn't like it... and so this time I was very pleasently surprised with her performance! 👏

With Ronit Sir's portrayal of Devavrat/Bhishma, the thing I like most is that the personality of Bhishma comes across as described in the book - very controlled, and humble 👍🏼 There are very few instances in the book where Bhishma was ever fuming with rage... and so at this stage I'd say that Ronit Sir and the KHMK team have got Bhishma spot on 👏

Of course, I'm only referring to the personality - the Zeus-style tunic is another thing altogether 😕 😆

Maybe after the show is over, people will say that other portrayals of Bhishma were more dramatic - but I think more importantly (at least in my humble opinion) is that no Ronit Sir's portrayal of the legendary grandsire was the most accurate (with respect to the book) 😃

Of course, I'm assuming that Ronit Sir won't suddenly change, and give a new freestyle approach towards Bhishma 😆

And lastely, a note: Please lets not make mods angry by asking for FF links on a KHMK topic - I think those kinda things are supposed to be asked for via PM 😊

OMGishhh !!!! I won't mind if BHeesma reminds Rishu and Rishu seems to be Bhisma 😳 mere liye toh saare ek hi baat hai ☺️

And Yes I agree to the topic maker 😃...finally got to catch the epis on Sunday repeat 😃 I SO wished Rakshu were Shweta....though I LOVEE rakshu ☺️
