I think Shilpa "Ganga" Saklani or Gauri "Nandini" Pradhan are the best contenders to play Draupadi... Draupadi is a very strong character in Mahabharat... Ekta is really messing up the character by selecting Anita as Draupadi....

No offence but I personally believe Anita is a very poor actress..... I would prefer aged Rupa Ganguly to place Draupadi once again opposite five young guys but cannot bear to watch Anita as the Draupadi... I have seen her performance in many soaps but she has always under-performed compared to other actors in those soaps.....

Ekta should understand that friendship is good but not at the cost of a good character....

Anita is one off the best actresses out there, why are ppl so jealous off her, what has Gauri done apart from bein in and out off kyunki oh and a drama special squad, really prove she a hit😆, Shilpa is a gd actress but she isnt a contender. Everyone wants Gauri cause she married to Hiten and everyone don like Anita cause she datin Eijaz, get over it, Ekta has made her choice, and friendship and nothin to do with it, she saw ability in Anita

I think that the pressure on Anita ji was huge... the thing is that unlike the previous actress, Anita ji had no prior oppertunity to establish her version of Draupadi, or get into the skin of the role.

In the very first episode itself, she was thrown into the deep end.

I think that when the Cheer Haran gets revisited, Anita ji will have found more acceptance 😊

Please all of you..please think TWICE..THRICE...as many time as you want before posting any statement against any actor in this section , as we are going to have many characters nd those will be played by many actors..nd each actor has his/her fan following here .so rather hurting someone's feelins and passing a judgemental statement i would like you all to have lilltel concern towards your fellow forum member.

Strange to see people posting like this where even she didnt start to act yet 😆....

Just becoz someone likes Anita and someone likes Gauri/Shilpa, one can't judge how good anita/gaurii/shilpa will do in the show even before the char made an entry 😊 Then toh ALL ShOnit fanz should start posting 'Shweta should be Amba' and others posting their fav stars to play their fav chars 😆 And Kekta's MB will turn out to be an imaginative epic 😆.....

Anyways - let's see first how the lady is doing, then comment 😉

she shud do the role with more grace.
Her expressions those pics of picture gallery(in that red outfit) were not good. She didn't looked like a Empress. Lets hope that she'll do justice with the role n improve her way of speaking n expressions. After all she is going to portray an ancient Empress

noone is jeolous of anita...jeoulous honeki koi baat hogi tab hi public jeolous honge😆 and sorry to say i find nothing spl abt her,neither her looks nor her acting

i'm hardcore Gauri fan bt firbhi i dn't want Gauri to play draupadi bcoz Hitz is playing karna😳Gauri was the one who approached the first as draupadi,ekta was dying to take her as draupadi bt our Gauri is not like that fame and money ke liye kuch bhi karenge....she refused the role bcoz of time problem and moreover that Hitz is playing Karana(muaah to my Angel Gauri)😳so think once before u r posting any word against Gauri,Gauri left this role that's why ur anita got this role😆...and bolne ki jaroorat nahi u can see the popularity of Gauri,even she is not playing any role in mahabhaarat bt firbhi people want to see her in it,bcoz people can't take this poor draupadi any more😆

eijaj and Hiten is out of question here bt u brought them to defend ur anita😆
