But what made Himesh Bhai cry? No it wasn't a snide remark by his fellow mates. Himesh was choked with emotions on hearing one of the contestants from Pakistan; Sujat who belongs to the gharana of renowned Pakistani singer Shafaqat Amanat Ali Khan Saheb. Having completed his training from his uncle he was chosen by the organizers of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa. His mother is well known to Asha Tai. Sujat sang the famous song "Khamaj" on Sa Re Ga Ma Pa. So mellow was his rendition that Himesh moved to tears. Says Himesh, "Sujat sang the song beautifully. This song has been sung on this platform before also but never with so much profoundness'. I got really emotional on hearing the song".
