Q. Tell us something about the film Kismat Kocnection?
A. Kismat Konnection is a very sweet and a typical Aziz Mirza film. It has got some nice moments of love, romance and comedy. You will have a very good two and an half hours or so watching the film. It's a very sweet film and it is different in its on way.
Q. What is your character in the film?
A. I am playing the character of Karan Malhotra who is Vidya's fianc?in the film. Basically Karan is a very practical guy in life for whom nothing is bigger than his career, money and work. He loves Vidya a lot but his first priority is his career. It is a very substantial character.
Q. How was it working with Aziz Miza in you debut film?
A. It was great. I could not ask for something better than this. He is not only a fantastic director but is also a very good human being. Working with some one like Aziz uncle is like my dream come true.
Q. How did you bag the role?
A. Aziz uncle's son Harun is an old friend of mine who is also the co-director in this film. We were neighbor long ago when I as living in Shivaji Park during my childhood days. We met each other one day and he told me that he would meet me again regarding some work. And as promised he gave me a call and I met Aziz uncle who offered me this role.
Q. How was it working with Shahid?
A. It was great. He is a very lovely guy and a very professional one too. He is very committed towards his work and I got to learn a lot of things from him and others also. I also enjoyed working with Vidya.
Q. Any interesting incident you can recall that happened on the sets?
A. Once we were giving a shot at the Niagara Falls with Vidya. We had to take a lot of retakes because it was very chilled out there and Vidya was feeling cold. It was a funny and hilarious situation. And while filming my first shot I was very nervous. Then Azizji, Vidya and Shahid comforted me, eased me out and supported me. These two scenes I am going to remember for ever.
Q. Talk about the music of the film
A. Music of the film is great and it is already in the top charts all over. I think it's a feel good music which you can listen in your car and can even play in the disco.
Q. Do you have any song picturized on you?
A. I have a song on the situation when I and Vidya are getting engaged. It's a Punjabi song and I am a part of that song. I have even danced in the song.
Q. Did you dance with Shahid in the song? How was it?
A. Yes I have danced in the song with Shahid. It was fun as well as dangerous. It was good to dance with him and really Shahid is a good dancer. I am in no comparison to him. But I am trying to dance better in future.
Q. What kind of films you want to do?
A. I am new in the industry so I can't choose films now. I think an actor should be able to do anything and everything.
Q. Do you have any dream role?
A. I have so many dream roles that if I start one there will be lots more. There is nothing fix in particular.
Q. What is your take on reality shows? Are you interested in doing any of such?
A. I think they are good and are running well and more over people like it a lot. There were offers earlier also but I refused those because it was for singing and I am a very bad singer. I am open to reality shows and would definitely do if something interesting comes to me.
Q. How are you going to manage time between your television and film commitments?
A. If the response of the film is well and everything goes fine, I will take a balance call whether to resume television or not.
Q. Your future projects…
A. Everything depends on Kismat Konnection now. If everything goes well then lets see what lies there in luck. There were few offers which have come my way but I am waiting for the response of Kismat Konnection.
