Shayantani , 'It is only about dancing

Yes it is… And it all the more proves when you actually go the extra mile and do something extraordinary. Shayantani Ghosh, the Naaginn of Zee TV is making waves for her hip shaking performances in Tata Indicom Ek Se Badkar Ek.

Recently the girl tried to break the myth that boys dance better as they incorporate lots of stunts and free styles in their dance acts. The dare devil girl threw herself in the arms of her co dancers from quite a height as a part of the act, landing miraculously on the bed of arms formed by and managed to injure herself badly in the process. But irrespective of the bruises and the blood clot on her shoulders, the brave girl gave a stupendous performance and secured highest marks.

Talk about being slated for the next bravery award!

Enroute to the hospital, Shayantani, spoke to us.

"I am feeling better but the pain is still there and I can't move my back. But this is competition and it does take a lot on me and of late I have been on such regular shows. But, that is how it should be because I believe in giving 100%. The theme of my performance was a wild one so obviously the moves will be different and I wanted each and every step to match the theme. And all my efforts paid off because the act went on well and I got highest marks and lot of appreciation. This gives me a lot of satisfaction and I feel glad about it".

And going off the track when we questioned her about her dispute with Jasveer, she said, "There is no dispute or anything but it was a coincidence that Jasveer and I happened to choose the same song, but later things were sorted."
And, yes, I finally bagged the song, which suited me. There's no point giving a performance on a song, which does not ring well with me.

So when asked about this to Jasveer, she said, "I don't understand why people are trying to make a big issue out of this. This is a reality show and there is no color without any masala in it. I have no problems absolutely with anyone and I don't prefer being negative or flaring up things".
