Many cricketers have some certain habits when batting or bowling which they do every time when they come on to bat or bowl...
Here are a few:
Kevin Pietersen: He loosens his shirt (especially the shoulders) and adjusts his gloves after practically every shot!! May be he stops his shirt from sticking with due to sweat..so that he can open the shoulders and play the shot without any hinderance..?😕!
Shivnaraine Chanderpaul: When he takes guard from the umpire, he uses a bail instead of his bat! Then he adjusts his helmet,pads and gloves after almost every ball he faces!😆
Inzamam-ul-Haq: he kept adjusting his helmet regularly!
Younis Khan: Before facing a ball, he adjusts his helmet by putting his hand on it and then pressing it; then he reassures his batting partner about something by nodding his head..After each short single or after a good run, he applauds wid the help of his bat towards his partner. And recently, I've noticed that when he gets out, he runs along the pitch and then slows down n walks back to the pavilion..!😕😆
Imran Khan: He used to swivel the bat grip in his right hand in between deliveries that he faced!
Viv Richards: He used to move his shoulders a bit quite often when the bowler was in his run up..May be he used to loosen them up for another booming drive!😕
Salman Butt: He adjusts his pad alot when he's at the non striker's end.He continuously recites Holy verses before every ball he faces..
Shoaib Akhtar: sticks his elbow in the air to pull his sleeve up after bowling each delivery..
Danish Kaneria: licks his fingers before starting his short run up!
Shahid Afridi: While batting,he looks around the field before facing every ball..Sometimes when the bowler is in his run up, Afridi has a huge smile on his face!😆 While bowling, when Afridi has delivered the ball..he has this habit of running his hand through his hair after every ball!
Srikkanth: had this habit of twitching his nose violently like a rabbit when the bowler was running in to bowl!😆
MS Dhoni: When keeping, he laways shakes himself alot! He shakes his shoulders left n right and then finally settles into his sitting position!😆 While batting, he keeps on tightening his gloves!He opens their strap, tightens them and keeps doing it regularly!!😆
Misbah-ul-Haq: Before facing each ball, his eyes blink a lot..and tends to touch his left shoulder alot with his chin while waiting for the bowler to come and bowl!😆
Lasith Malinga: He kisses the ball every time he starts his run up!
Andrew Flintoff: When he celebrates his century, he holds his bat up at the broad part of the bat instead of holding it from the handle!😆
