Star status is still far away: Harman

Newcomer Harman Baweja, whose much-hyped debut film "Love Story 2050" is set to release July 4, says he should not be accorded star status until he proves his worth.

"I don't see myself as a star ... it's too far now," Harman said.

The budding actor added: "A star is a celestial object which is beyond reach and hence Amitji (Amitabh Bachchan) and Shah Rukh (Khan) can be called stars."

"Please don't put a newcomer on that pedestal."

Star or not, Harman is reportedly the only debutant to have bagged five plum projects even before the release of his first film.

Good luck to Harman 😃 but he's right, he's not a star yet and would be silly to give him that label even before he has proven what he's worth. But from the looks of it, he has star quality

He seems really down to earth yes its unfair to connect superstar to anyone be it a newcomer like harman or people like shahid etc since not everyone is one..

yeah..agree with him....but he does have the star quality....i luv him and cant wait LS 2050
