challenge?

guys i would want to know if mahabharat and krishna's entry will affect ramayan trps. Plus as youngster what attract u towards this epics

every epic has different impact we learn different lessson from each epic ramayan teach us abbout dharam and maryada

mahbharat teach us about karam and dharam

my personal fav is Ramayan i always love old ramayan and i m loving the new one i dont think any serial can affect ramayan

There is a strong possibility of the TRPs being affected at least during the first few weeks of Ekta Kapoor's Mahabharat. This is mainly because she is casting as many of her most popular actors as possible in that show. These actors have crazy fan following (and these crazy fans insist on watching every episode with their favourite star in it even if the story, script and acting are horrible 😆) and this, coupled with all the hype Balaji is creating about the show, will most likely give them a big boost initially. Of course since 9X is a fairly new channel it does not command the same viewership as Ekta's homeground Star Plus or even Zee. So that might work against it a bit. 😊

From the looks of it, Balaji is putting a lot of effort into making their show as large scale as possible with shooting locations like Ladakh, Jaipur etc and they seem to be pouring a lot of money into special effects (or so they claim). Special effects is the Achilles' heel of the Sagars. So this can work in Ekta's favour. 😉

the timings of RAMAYAN & MAHABHARAT r different so the trp's of RAMAYAN r not gonna affected !!

I LOVE THE STORY OF RAMAYAN & it teaches us great values & i can watch RAMAYAN zilions of times ,i don't know why but RAMAYAN really soothes ur mind ,body & soul & i just love RAMAYAN from the bottom of my heart !!!

in todays time we cannot read all the great mythological books ,so while watching these MYTHOLOGICAL SHOWS LIKE RAMAYAN we get to know abt THE GREAT ,valuable teachings & catharsis of our mind,body & soul is being done !!!!

Ekta's show will air Mon-Thurs at 9:00 pm (IST) while Sagars' Ramayan airs Mon-Thurs at 9:30 pm (IST). If Ekta's show is 1 hour long then it will eat into Ramayan's TRPs at least initially.

Another thing is that the Sagars might not lose TRPs but Ekta's show may achieve and maintain higher TRPs and this will work against the Sagars since they are both prime time shows. It's not like one is on the afternoon band and the other prime time or something. Being in the same band automatically translates to competition. So Ekta's show could beat the Sagars in the overall prime time TRP charts which is also extremely important and necessary for the sponsors. This whole TRP game is very convoluted indeed. 😆

by the way competetions always helps a show to gets better😛 ,if sagars feel any sort of trp jitters from ekta's mahabharat then they wud try more n more ,work more harder ON RAMAYAN & THT WUD ONLY HELP RAMAYAN in getting better n better (although RAMAYAN is a fabulous & genius show right now) 😛😛
