Who was your toughest competitor on Ek Se Badhkar Ek? I don't know. I think I was the weakest competitor. Were you ever told "Par Apu can't dance, saala" on the show? (Laughs) No way! No one said that.. they'd better not have said that. Ha ha. This is your third reality show. Why do you keep going back? It's the money, honey! Besides, I don't take reality shows too seriously . Was your partner Poonam Jadau in awe of you? She is a quiet sort. We hardly spoke until we shot for some bytes together. In the woman-dominated TV world, don't you wish there was a show called Kanha ke Bete Kuch Kar Dikhayenge? (Laughs) As long as it is well-written, it doesn't matter to me whether it's Radha ki Betiyaan or Kanha ke Bete. But I must say I'm happy to be a part of Radha Ki Betiyaan Kuch Kar Dikhayengi. Have you ever watched an old show of yours and cringed? I'm a self-critical person. Some bits of Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahin make me cringe. Like the one in which you were in drag? (Smiles) Quite a few times, I feel I could have done better here and there. If Jassi.. were to be remade, who could take over as Armaan? I'd pick the actor who was in Kyunki Saas bhi Kabhi Bahu thi - Pulkit Samrat. Is your long hair tough to maintain? Tell me about it! We shoot in Madh Island by the sea for Radhaa ki Betiyaan.. The humidity plays havoc with my shampooed and conditioned hair. My wife Shilpa (Sak- lani) likes it though. She thinks long hair makes me look flamboyant. Between your wife Shilpa Saklani and you, who spends more on hair products? (Laughs) Neither of us. I don't even comb my hair despite repeated pleas from Shilpa. Kajjal, in which you co-starred with Surveen Chawla, was a debacle. Would you take on a show like that again? Sure. I have no regrets. There were prob- lems with Kajjal's script. We shouldn't have done gimmicky stuff. How would you rank yourself as an actor, singer and dancer? I'm an actor first, then a singer and then a dancer. Who's a better dancer - Shilpa or you? Shilpa is a fabulous dancer but she gets nervous when there are choreographed steps. What is it about Shilpa that irritates you? Her love for dogs gets to me at times. She jumps out of the car to cuddle them. Have people told you that Shilpa and you look alike? (Laughs) Yes they have. I think it's time for one of us put on weight.
