Shilpa goes the Maneka way

Actress Shilpa Shetty has joined the Maneka Gandhi bandwagon. Taking up her role seriously as an ambassador for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) Shilpa has sent a letter to Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh urging him to ban the Russian Circus, which is scheduled to come to Mumbai shortly. "Circuses are no fun for the animal. They do not naturally ride bicycles, stand on their heads or jump through the firs rings.

Whips, electric pods and other tools are used to force the animals to perform," explains Shilpa. Great start for a revolutionary movement…spread the word!
