Gharana

The four mentors have their unique personalities..Some are tough with their pupils, some are real sweet, others push for their candidates hard, some really care for them from their heart.Some have given chance to them in their movies other's may be just doing lip service..Which gharana you would like to be in if you are an aspiring singer and why?

I'd definitely go for Aadesh's gharana, as he is very encouraging and brings out the best in his students. He has a great singing voice, if you heard him singing in films or in the practice segments. He has great values, like that one episode where he told Vishwas and Keka to reject the green if they didn't sing up the mark and reject the yellow if they truly truly felt that they deserved the green. Himesh always seems to get upset at his students, Ismail most of the time seems to get intimidating to his students, and JL would stick up for me if I sang badly.

i have observed that i tend to agree to kishore_bhakta's views in almost all cases. As a participant even I would have selected AS's gharana. But though he brings out the best out of his students and encourages them and corrects the -ve aspects in a polite manner, I personally feel he is very clever and manipulative. The preachings that he had given regarding rejecting green card etc were to indirectly criticize vineet-HR. Also most of the times he tends to gang up with JL to fight with HR/ID.
