part1:Sita's trial and tribulation continues
Mandodary comes running to Ravan, she is very afraid. Ravan first tries to soothe her telling: my queen! You are searching for me when I am supposed to reside in your heart!
But Mandodary is not consoled. She earnestly tells him that she saw: Lanka is burning!
Ravan goes to the window and he does not see anything

R: you may be imagining
M: no I am not!
R: okay I understand what you mean. Ever since I have brought sita here, such bad omens are seen everywhere. If sita is returned back to her husband, everything will be fine right? But no! Accept the truth, I will not return sita to her husband. No ill omen can do me harm. I am Lankesh Ravan : I rule all the starts and planets. Sita will stay here and become the Swamini of Lanka, and face the truth
Here Mandodary gain perceives Lanka is burning and she tries to attract Ravan to the scene. As usual the king, blinded by his pride and ego does not see it, he laughs at Mandodary. An indignant Mandodary leaves
Sita sitting at Asokvan and its nighttime
Suddenly a single head comes and yells at her. She cries out of fear. Then a headless lady stands in front of her and holds her own head in her hand. Seeing this sita is all more afraid. Then another Rakshashi comes running to her and just vanishes in front of her. Sita gets up and starts praying to ram, chanting his name.
At this point, hearing her shrieks, Trijata comes to her,
T: what is wrong my child?
S: I do not understand, I saw some horrifying scenes and I am afraid.
T: do not be afraid
Three rakshashis come to her say: we tried to scare you, accept our lord Ravan quickly and be his queen, other wise we will kill you by frightening you like this.
They laugh aloud and then leave
Trijata puts her hand on sita 's head and embraces her. Sita also hugs Trijata and rests in her lap, crying all along.
