September 22th Update

Kaveri is getting ready in bridal wear, shes wearing the whole bridal
outfit and jewelery. As she puts the clothes on she thinks about how
Anurag told her that Pratiks condition is permeanant and he will
never get better now and plus soon his mental state will degrade too.
Kaveri comes into the room where Pratik is lying on the bed and he
says 'oh god ur beautiful'. They chit chat about things and he makes
her laugh with some joke about suhag raat. Kaveri weeps but he tells
her not to cry.[end of the first 5 minutes of the show]

Babuji is on the sofa in the morning looking depressed. Everyone else
is at the breakfast table and they are all talking about how happy
they were yesterday on seeing Pratik going around the house in a
wheelchair. They discuss their enthusiam about Pratik and when he
will get better. Avinash says that as soon as Pratik gets better then
he can run the Megha International Hotel project! Yashoda is excited
about Pratik helping out in the business again. Rakesh says 'no no,
Pratik will help me as a legal advisor for my company'. Malini (who
probably felt compeled to add something) says that 'no no Pratik will
run my company'. Bua tells them all to be quiet and let Pratik rest
for now. Babuji just sits on the sofa looking dead and staring into
space. Bua tells Rimjhim to call Babuji to breakfast. Rimjhim goes
upto Babuji but stops dead in her tracks when she sees something.
Everyone else sitting at the breakfast table all one by one also look
at what Rimjhim is looking at. Kaveri has come into the room. Babuji
slowly turns his head too look at her as well but he isnt shocked,
hes more desensitised as he looks at the inevitable. Kaveri is
wearing a white sari and her hair is all out and wavy and blowing in
the wind. Everyone is shocked and ask her whats happening, Avinash,
Rakesh, Yashoda and Rimjhim probe her. Kaveri just looks at them dead
eyed. Then it dawns on the family that somethings happened with
Pratik, so shout 'oh no Pratik!'. They come running into Pratiks
room. Pratik is on the bed with his eyes closed. They all try to wake
him but they all realise that hes dead. Iravati comes into the room
and says 'whats going on?'. She goes over to Pratik and tries to wake
him but then she realises that hes dead and she screams so loud and
cries a ear-spliting cry/scream. Babuji hears Iravatis scream in the
main room and he tries to remain calm and strong by saying to
himself ''The soul never dies, the body is a bondage, the soul is
salvation''. Kaveri listens and comes and kneels down beside Babuji.

Pratik has cotton wool up his nose and is lying on the floor and
everyones wearing white and everyones grieving around him. Pratiks
funeral is happening and Kaveri just sits there looking dead (Pratik
told her not to cry).

Pratik is being burned on the funeral pyre and everyones grieving
around him again. Babuji remembers when he was telling Pratik that
the soul lives forever and changes bodies like we change clothes.
Rakesh remembers when Pratik was saying yesterday that 'you have
always supported me brother' etc. Avinash remembers when Pratik asked
him to hug him yesterday.

Everyone is sitting down now and grieving. Then Babuji is given the
phone, he has a call. Babuji is looking shocked as he listens to what
is being said on the phone. Everyone looks at Babuji and asks him
whats happening. Rakesh stands up behind Babuji and asks him. Babuji
says that Kaveri is in police custody.
