Written Updates June 14

Salaam Namaste dosto😛 Below is the Update for today's show.

The show begins with Ravi Kisan commenting that last week there were 8 pairs chosen, one singer and one dancer. This week one person from the pair will perform today, and another tomorrow. The pairs will choose a Guru after the performance whose marks they would wish to be added. Both the judges would give marks but the marks of the chosen guru would be carried forward. The judges will lock in their votes and the audience will see this, but the contestents will only see the marks after they chose the g uru and the judges comments.

First to perform is Aneek who sings Bhigi Bhigi. Towards the end of the song he sings in Bangali which is the original song before the hindi version. Sayantani is called on stage. Ravi Kisan goes on Babu and kisses Aneek and tells Sayantani to kiss Aneek also. The marks that the judges lock are 7 by Abhijit and 6 by Ahmed Bhai.
Aneek and Sayantani choose Abhijit as Guru.
Ahmed Bhai: You suddenly changed to Bangali
Abhijit: You are truly a Bangal Tiger and loved the way Aneek shaped the song from hindi to bangali.

Next to perform is Amrapali who dances to Saiya.
The judges lock in their scores which is 4 by both.
Harpreet is called on stage and the contestents choose Ahmed Bhai.
Abhijit: Did not like the performance as it was a group performance and did not appear to be solo performance.
Ahmed Bhai: Great song and great energy. Good dance
Ravi Kisan tells Harpreet that now he will have to really work hard tomorrow as they only got 4 marks today.

Third performance is by Emon who sings Jag Soona Soona Lage....👏 He is good! The judges lock in 6 marks each.
Purbi is called on stage and they chose Abhijit
Ahmed Bhai: You seem like you have suddenly grown by two to three years. Great performance.
Abhijit: Bahut achha. You are yourself in just one week.
Ravi Kisan keeps on saying mindblowing, fantastic etc.

4th performance is a dance by Rajshree to Nimuda Nimuda. Judges lock in marks which are 6 marks by Abhijit and 4 marks by Ahmed Bhai.
Amit Paul is called and they choose Ahmed Bhai.
Abhijit: You had lot of energy and I like your professionalism
Ahmed Bhai: You chose a difficult song and missed the nimbu once thus lost one step.

5th performance is by Sumedha who sings Piyu bole Piya bole....
Abhijit locks in 5 points and Ahmed Bhai 4.
Abhishek comes on stage and they choose Abhijit
Ahmed Bhai: Love this song and liked Sumedha's style and that she didnot sing like the original singer
Abhijit: Not happy with the performance this time.

The sixth performance is a dance number by Jaswir to E Chori Zara Nachke Dikha
Abhijit locks in 6 marks and Ahmed bhai 7 marks
Raja comes on stage and they choose Ahmed Bhai. Jaswir calls him Ahmed. Ahmed Bhai says he does not like being called just by name, rightly so! Jaswir apologizes.
Abhijit: Performance had josh. Liked it
Ahmed Bhai: Very good performance

Next is Sanchita who sings Yeh Ishq Haye
Abhijit locks in 5 marks and Ahmed Bhai locks in 4 marks
Kushal comes on stage and they choose Ahmed Bhai.
Abhijit points out her pronounciation which is incorrect in places and says she should not take herself for granted.
Ahmed Bhai: You sang well but something was missing but I have confidence in you.

The 8th and last performance of the day is by Apurva who dances to Bhul Bhulaya.
Both the judges lock the marks at 5 each.
Poonam comes on stage and they choose Ahmed Bhai.
Abhijit: You are a honest and modest person. Liked the performance.
Ahmed Bhai: Nice dance and loved the way his hair bounced😆

Ravi Kisan then announces that the markes will be carried and tomorrow the 2nd person of the pairs will perform and the marks will be added then. The scores from the Guru Report Card today are:

Aneek and Sayantani : 7
Jaswir and Raja: 7
Emon and Purbi: 6
Sumedha and Abhishek: 5
Apurva and Poonam: 5
Sanchita and Kaushal: 4
Amrapali and Harpreet : 4
Rajshree and Amit Paul; 4
