Thoughts on Sid Malhotra???

I like him in boy next door type of roles where he plays middle class man. those type of roles suits him the most.

Sid is just uncommonly blessed. Born into a wonderful family, blessed with incredible looks and a pleasant personality. Became rich and famous Married to a beautiful,l loving girl from a wealthy connected family. Still does films.

Those who spend their days fighting under Box office handles, have no idea, how far he has come. Big B's son, won't understand, what it is to buy your own flat in Malabar hills or West Bandra.

In his eyes he made it.

I bet when he sees losers argue otherwise..He shakes his head and smiles.

In my mind I see him doing that.

Hot lookswise, except for feet maybe . Attractive body language. Well mannered as far as I have seen. Personality is slightly boring but chalo nowhere as bad as his peers.

"The film opened reasonably but reviews have been mixed, which leaves one wondering, yet again, whether the problem is the man or the machinery around him."

What is your personal opinion to the bold part?

Honestly, I would have liked to know a more personal account about Sid and not a generalizing one.

In my eyes, Sid is an actor whose performances in the films I’ve seen him in — and there have been quite a few — I really enjoyed. It wasn’t his good looks that mattered most to me, but rather his play (alone or with other actors). However, Sid himself has remarked in interviews that his good looks paradoxically may work against him. I think that Indian critics are inclined to dismiss the acting talent of highly attractive actors who started out as models. When he plays a role with nuance (a more Western style of acting), it is often labeled as a lack of energy or stiffness, simply because people might be expecting a different kind of "demeanor."

Just to add: I did not watch the movie with Janhvi as the trailer didn't give me the vibe that it would be a movie which suits him the way The Vvan now does.

Liked him during haseeh to phasee days. was cool in hasee, kapoor n sons. he is a natural actor too, not sure about range though.
