Yup that is the weirdest thing of a family who is so sanskari and thinks of their family, parents etc. even family which has issues will still search for their parents or anyone who is missing. least they could do is file a missing complaint in the near by police station. Here Virani's are rich enough to hire a private agency too, but they are all drowned into their lives selfishly, Like Gautam settling his son as Damini and Nakul always has this expectation from Gautam, Karan is his grief , hatred forgot.

Like makers also felt they will run this show without Tulsi and Mihir, but only because we viewers are compelling them, reminding them who are the actual leads of the show.

Not one person has tried to find him in ten years and some is crazy beyond belief. I understand if initially Karan was not even thinking about it given his grief but what about the rest?

A police complaint, a private investigator or two were the most basic things you would think of.

The strangest part is Shobha's family is also in USA I believe, as daughters will be more concerned for her parents than son , she is shown of doing nothing , atleast Abhishek se call pe hi baat karate hue dikhate about the search, frequent updates etc. Abhishek to joote,chappal , shirt, socks ke liye call karta hai. I am sure KN hold green card , they may not even need Visa to visit US. but makers ko crap hi dikhana hai, ya fir aapka pati hai aap dekhlo , mujhe hotel sambhalna hai, mere beti ki shadi Karana hai etc.

Shobha's husband and kids are still in US but Shobha will not ask them to try to find Mihir. Its clear that Mihir's children are not interested in finding him. They are just pretending to be concerned about him but in reality they don't care about Mihir's whereabouts.

I also noticed one more thing, Yesterday Mihir said he is meeting Malpani's( mast surname hai😂😂) from last three years, Mandira says she is living with him from last 10years, and they did confirm by showing accident/surgery scenes.

I believe Shobha mentioned her family is based in Delhi but frankly, given how much she’s in SN it’s a miracle her husband and kids know and recognise her at all. Tulsi might as well seem like she’s from another planet to them, they probably don’t even know what a Nani Nana are as concepts.

I vaguely remember her mentioning USA. That's the joke - everytime her going back home extends due mummy papa, pari, remarriages, separation, reunion😂😂.

If based out in Delhi probably she visits often, and they failed to show it. Nana nani concept to kyun hi hoga jab budget hi badhegi to😃😃.

The serial has no values for any rishta. 🙄🙄 except psycho affairs.

Tulsi n Mihir jis sanskar ki baat karte hai to look after by their family, shayad minus Shobha's family hogi. 🙄
